    What a great first experience!
We went as a family while on vacation in North Myrtle Beach (our 16 and 12 year olds went too) and we all had the best time! It was our first time ever Axe throwing and Will did an awesome job teaching us all how to do it. The coach was amazing, drinks were cold, the music was great, and the atmosphere was fabulous! We will be back!

    Awesome staff
Will was absolutely amazing!! I was there with my 22 year old son and his 23 year old friend. Excellent teacher, as this was my first time. My son and his friend were experienced. After we did the axe throwing, we enjoyed some wine at the bar. They took on the challenge of the lava floor, and Will jumped in with them. There was so much to do there, from video games to a golf simulator, axe throwing to a lava floor. It was so much fun but the best part of it was the staff. Will is absolutely amazing and made our evening more. Thank you for helping to make our trip to Myrtle Beach so much fun.

We stumbled upon this place around 11PM. The owner and Vanessa were so awesome! They showed us everything and gave us game suggestions which made it even more fun. So many activities that we will be back for sure!!

    Lots of fun.
Had a great time with my family of four. Two kids 11 and 14. The hosts were friendly and showed us how to throw and set us up with a game to play. Also set up balloons to pop and allowed us to use throwing stars. Def recommend.

    Best Axe throwing
Let me tell you, this has been my favorite axe throwing bar yet! Although we were trying to find things to do in the middle of a hurricane, this is something that you can do any day of your stay! The staff is very friendly and takes well care of your needs and questions. There is a bar and arcade inside as well a golf stimulator and “the floor is lava” game. We are definitely making the time to come back a second time during our stay here. The staff let us experiment with the ninja stars, which in my personal opinion, were the best part

A blast for men and women!
We had a blast. This is not just a macho strength thing - there's a lot of finesse to it, and the women had as much fun as the men. The manager was awesome, very patient, and gave us great instructions on how to throw axes, ninja stars and knives. We managed to get pretty good with the axes and passable with the ninja stars. The knives were trickier, but it was still really fun to try different techniques and coach each other. One of the most fun things you can do on Myrtle Beach - we all highly recommend it!

    Work Team Axe Throwing
Our work group went for our Christmas outing. We had a great time! The facility was great. Plenty of room to interact with each other. The attendant was knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed a competitive game and would go back again!

FUN & Hysterical! Thought this might be hokey, but we got right into the groove and had a blast! Fun music playing, the man who checked us in was very instructive on how to throw an Ax and was very nice. After some practice throws we started landing bullseyes and high scoring points. It really was a fun evening and we highly recommend Jack Ax if you’re looking for something fun and different to do at the beach.

My wife and I travel to North Myrtle Beach annually and always make it a point to go. By now, it's a must-do tradition. The staff is always stellar in helping us out, getting us set up, and knowing what things to add to make the experience an enjoyable one. While it seemed like he was pulled in multiple directions between managing other groups or the front for new guests, Will was always courteous with our party during our time there!

We recommend at least 1-2 hours, but be ready to feel sore the next day! Two-four people in the group is a pretty good sweet spot to rotate folks out who are drinking or who need a break.

It's sad seeing the BYOB go, but the selection is fair. Seeing mead on the menu would also be welcome, but we understand the limitations on space.

My only tip would be to make sure when you're making a reservation to choose the right location.

We love having seen the location grow over the years and cannot wait to visit in the future!

We had a blast!!!! It was our first time and Carter made us feel very welcome. He explained the "art" of throwing axes. We thought it would be easier, but we were challenged to get the axes to stick. This place has a great atmosphere, lively and upbeat. We loved the music too. You are able to buy a nice variety of soft drinks, beer, wine, sours and wine coolers. We threw a variety of axes, played a ballon game and just had the best time. We laughed a lot! Carter is a great guy and we enjoyed chatting about stuff. We shall return!!

The whole family had a good time. Great demonstration on how to throw an axe and shared helpful tips. Good environment for everyone. We were a little nervous at first but after a few practice throws, we built up a little bit more confidence. The staff was awesome.

Went to Jack Axe with my girlfriend, no appointment needed. We had the space to ourselves which was great because Scott let us pick the music we wanted to hear. BYOB so we walked next door and grabbed some drinks. Scott gave us an in depth training session and has a great sense of humor. He made us feel comfortable and we really enjoyed ourselves; I had a lot more fun than I expected.

Great place! We had a group of 4 and had a blast at the North Myrtle location. It was a rainy day so we made reservations last minute. Thankfully we got in, because I imagine this place would book up very quickly. Great service and the guys were always coming around helping us improve our throws. To make it even better they brought over other things to throw like knives and throwing stars!! Highly recommend!!!

My husband and I decided to give axe throwing a try while on our anniversary trip and we were not disappointed. The staff was amazing and took time to show us the proper way to throw an axe.

My tip to visitors is to make sure you pay attention to which location you make your reservation for, as there are multiple options.

My tip to the company It would be great if they sold merch with their donkey logo on it!

I'll be honest we walked in and were about to start the throwing but immediately noticed that no one was wearing a mask. There was a party happening with approximately 15 - 20 people, no one with mask, not even the owner or the trainer.

The trainer politely wore a mask when we asked him to, but we just couldn't stand the discomfort of being in an enclosed space with so many who didn't wear masks and who were drinking and shouting and laughing. We had to leave.

I give the location 0 stars on COVID-19/Coronavirus safety, but I think they were 4 stars on axe/weapon safety.

It's so simple, wear a mask.

It was fun and worth the money. We are a family of four with two teenagers (boy and girl). We highly recommend it f you haven’t tried this before. We were there right at the 2:00 opening on a weekday, so it was an off time. The attendant showed us how to do it and brought us axes, knives, throwing stars and just let us throw away – providing guidance when we seemed confused.
Our family likes physical activity, so this was a good choice for us.

What a nice surprise! Showed up initially to the wrong location in South Myrtle Beach only to find out we booked in North Myrtle Beach 25 minutes away. We showed up late but the host Carter took such great care of us. Set us up in 2 bays which was great because there were six of us. He spent time showing us how to throw the axes. Our 4 teens had a blast. Would definitely recommend. Well worth the extra drive. Thanks Carter!!!
