During our most recent trip to Myrtle Beach, our 3 kids ages 10, 8, & 5 all wanted to try the kids adventure on the ropes course. The staff was great, helping each kid get a harness and helmet followed by showing them how to briefly navigate the course & gear. Parents can walk around the outside of the course and take pictures. The kids got to go around the course a total of 3 times. This was a great experience that kept the kids safe but allowed them to have fun! We would highly recommend Radical Ropes if you are in the Myrtle Beach area!

The course is more challenging than we thought, but it was tons of fun for the entire family. My husband and I were able to complete the first level and the boys were able to complete the first and second level. I recommend drinking plenty of water prior to ensure that you are adequately hydrated. We will visit Radical Ropes again and challenge ourselves to complete level 2!

Visited with two 12-year olds, a 24 y/o and 63 y/o! Everybody had a great time even though it was challenging! Course is creative, fun, and well maintained. All staff were friendly and helpful, especially Candice who helped us out and made us feel welcome. Covid-19 precautions were in place and respected. Definitely recommend, would love to return upon our next visit to Myrtle!

First off some of the staff looked stoned and I could smell the pot on them in the building and in the tower thing. Then the staff ignore you when you’re on the course. We got our gear stuck and the staff laughed at us and they just watched. We could hear them talking about us on the course while we struggled. Then we ask for help and they stare at us with bored expressions and then one of them leaves and the one that’s left rolls her eyes at me and tries to help. The most unenthusiastic and unhelpful employees ever! Then they girl tries to tell me I should have paid attention during ground school with the biggest attitude. Well the employee in their ground school mumbled most of it and looked like they weren’t even sure themselves. How are we supposed to complete a course if the training school was bad and didn’t say anything about getting gear jammed. My advice is to teach employees better customer service skills.

Thanks for the feedback. We are so sorry that this was your experience. What you have described is shocking and clearly not the norm when it comes to how our staff interact with guests. The manager would have been able to address many of these issues specifically at the time had they been informed, including accessing the need to contact local law enforcement regarding the alleged criminal activity. We are always interested in receiving constructive, positive feedback to help us get better. Thanks again.

I went with my 13 year old daughter and did the Aerial Adventure Park. She could do all three levels easily and had a great time doing it. As an out of shape 200 lbs man, it was a lot more challenging. Level 1 was family friendly, but Level 2 definitely requires good balance and some athleticism. Level 3 is very difficult, requiring superior balance and good upper body strength and finger strength. Rock climbers and gymnasts would find it easy, but it was a struggle for everyone else. Most people skipped it as the level 2 was challenging enough. As a heavier person, I greatly struggled with Level 3 and really needed the guides to help me through it. They were great and encouraging.

For each level there is a short or long way. If you want to do all three levels, you really only have time to do the short course for each. Otherwise, you it could easily take you the whole 2.5 hours doing the longer courses 1 and 2. Our of our group of 10 or so, only my daughter and I even tried Level 3, most found Level 2 challenging and exhausting.

We had a lot of fun here. Took my 10 year old daughter and we completed levels 1&2. Staff was available at all times to talk you through certain obstacles. They sell photos for only $8/each or $12 for all of them, which was nice bc you can't take your phone on the course. My only complaint is the pictures weren't always the best bc they are relying on cameras in the trees. I would definitely visit again. Perfect for the adventurer!

Good ropes course but beware during hot summer months. July and august are not the months you want to tackle this. We only lasted an hour sue to hear so the $50+ per person is a little steep!

You’re given a brief demonstration of safety and operation. The staff remained alert and very helpful (on the ground) at all times while watching you maneuver through each section. I’m a 49 y/o female, I thought I was pretty limber and agile but RADICAL ROPES has shown me otherwise~ lol. There’s three levels of endurance, each course was different, some were easy and others were more challenging. It took over an hour to complete three-fourths of the first level when I threw in the towel, I was too exhausted !!
I highly recommend RR for those to overcome their fear of heights and/or those who just want the challenge of completion of all 20 courses.

The only disappointing factor~ there were no pictures taken of my experience, there was technical difficulties and cell phones were not allowed on the course.

We scheduled an outing for my teens softball team and myself, we all absolutely had a great time! There were skills areas for everyone participating. My teen, who is not a fan of heights, really enjoyed herself, a couple of her teammates completed all levels. We would highly recommend Radical Ropes to anyone visiting the area!

I am 51 and took my BF (53) and kids, 15-21 to Radical Ropes. We had sooooo much fun!!!! I got through the 2nd level, but then it torrentially rained, so I couldn't attempt the 3rd level. There is a dive off on the first level if you are too terrified, but I never felt unsafe. The equipment was top notch and you had an opportunity to test everything out at ground level. Your teens will LOVE this!!!
