Well played out, interesting shopping area. Not just a strip mall or outlet group of buildings. Plenty of nice shops and food choices. The area surrounds a small body of water so even if you are just window shopping you can walk around outside. Looked...More

Have been going to Broadway at the Beach for many years. A wonderful, fun place to visit. So many attractions, stores to shop, places to eat and beautiful grounds to enjoy. Always have to go back to see what is new each year.

You will find local souvenirs shops, and some fun attractions. It is a nice option to walk along the beach and enjoy the breeze. Depending on the time of the year you are visiting, it may be more or less crowded. Not recommended during spring...More

We visited on New Years. Fantastic fireworks. Always a well maintained venue. Took our annual pic of the kids in front of "The Stupid Factory". Great selection of stores and eateries. The Kwik-E-Mart, Simpsons themed store was a hit

This event and it can become an event surrounds a large body of water and in season has numerous water activities. There are many eating choices to choose from and Paula Dean has an establishment there. You will also find street performers and unique shops.

Great for kids and adults. It has every type of restaurant you could want. Plenty of shopping and rides for the kids. Large lake with tons of hungry carp and ducks to feed.

Yes, they have rentable wheelchairs and strollers on the property. During the off season, the on-site kiosk is closed, but guests can call 843-446-8723 to arrange their rental and have their wheelchair or scooter delivered.

Where to stay in Myrtle Beach (2 Replies)
Will be traveling the end of August with 2 adults and 4 teenagers. Looking for a place to stay in Myrtle Beach that is ocean front and centrally located also in walking distance to food and fun. Would love to be close to a pier (if that is possible) to have access to fishing. Have been looking at Broadway at the Beach area. HELP!

The Yactsman is right in the middle of everything and the pier is right in front of the resort. I have stayed there before and although its not the best, it was clean and had what we needed. You can also look into Oceans One and Sandy Beach resort, which is close to Pier 14 (the nicest pier on the beach)! There are lots of options, You won't be near Broadway if you stay on the beach. Its just a short drive (5-10 minutes) from most locations. Give the resorts above a try and use Google...More

avoiding 501 to myrtle beach (7 Replies)
Hello.. Some friends and I are visiting Myrtle in a few weeks and heard 501 was usually bumper to bumper. Since our trip is already going to take around 13 hours, we would like to make it as easy going as possible. An alternate route given to us has us exiting 95 at exit 14, taking rt 74 to 410, to 701S, to 9S then 31S. We're staying near Broadway at the Beach and was wondering if this route is the quikest or if anyone had any other suggestions!! Thanks a bunch!

What do you suggest for the last 2 days here? (8 Replies)
We are currenly vacationing in North Myrtle Beach. So far we have collected shells, had a beach day (between the rain),spent two nights at Broadway at the Beach, shopped the Tanger outlets, went to Charleston, SC. Now trying to plan the next 2 days. Friday night we are going to Medeivil Times. If you had only 2 more days here what are the MUST see/Must do??
