- rickbrennanrnTrinity, Florida639 contributionsNice shopping complexNice shopping and entertainment complex with a lot of restaurant options. Lake setting makes the walk around very enjoyable. $5 fish food cups turned out to be a blast. Huge carp that literally form a solid layer of fish as they pile on top of each other to grab those pellets. Amusement rides, that looked cool at night with their lights on. Decent variety of vendors, with some deals to be found.Visited March 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten March 10, 2024
- RICART75Peru, Indiana2,455 contributionsWell worth a visit....Once again a visit Myrtle Beach for us, meant an afternoon enjoying the pleasures of this complex. Being a holiday weekend, with unseasonably warm weather; this was the busiest we've experienced Broadway at the Beach in February. It wasn't overwhelming, but it certainly had more of a traffic flow (which was kind of interesting to watch while sharing ice-cream, sitting outside of Kilwins). B at the B is kind of a condensed version of the Myrtle Beach area overall; plenty of shops to explore, restaurants to satisfy cravings, attractions to amuse & enjoy, and areas to wander...ranging from touristy to upscale, kitschy to quality, reasonable to pricey, unique to mundane and engaging to silly. We enjoy the off-season; when crowds are low, staff are unharried and welcoming, lines are undaunting, urchins are contained, and humidity/perspiration is low. Regardless the time of year, however; this area is well worth a visit.Visited February 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten March 16, 2024
- NewEnglandAreaFanBoston, Massachusetts109 contributionsFun place to visit especially with kidsFun place lots of variety good for kids with the fish and feeding them. Famous name shops. The only reason why I gave it a four out of five was there doing major work there and saw some unsafe situations for kids. Example workers carrying material while on the phone and not paying attention where they were going as muchVisited March 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten March 21, 2024
- dancer62vaNorfolk, Virginia697 contributionsMay not be for a handicapped person to walk around???Not for a young person of sorts. Geared mostly for families with young children. They have merry-go-rounds and things like that. Some of their shops are under construction. But if you want really good food that's the place to go or at least partly because of Margaritaville. A handicapped person would have a harder time because of the ground. Especially if they're in a wheelchair or with a walker of some sort.Visited April 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten April 6, 2024
- Dr. Mark YRichmond, Virginia199 contributionsNice family environment.Nice family environment. Some shops and buildings were vacant and/or closed. Definitely a tourist attraction, but prices for simple things like beverages were to high. There was one very shady person wearing a mask, hoody, and gloves, which should not be allowed in a family venue like this.Visited May 2024Traveled with familyWritten May 10, 2024
- Christine R13 contributionsSomething for everyone.Something for everyone in your group. Good variety of shopping, bars, restaurants, kiosk, snack bars and stuff for kids. You could definitely spend hours maybe even the whole day there. It’s sectioned off into different area for bars, restaurants etc. Lots of walking around the water and sightseeing and feeding fish if you’re not looking to shell out money doing those things. I will say we took the kids to the Pavillion area for the rides. It was ridiculously over priced and highway robbery. We would not go back to that area.Visited May 2024Traveled with familyWritten May 23, 2024

They have tons of shops and restaurants. It’s a great location too. Right on the corner! You could spend at least 3-4 hours easy.Visited June 2024Traveled with familyWritten June 23, 2024

As long as you're not expecting anything different, you should have a good time. We had a good time walking around and looking at everything. Bought a few things. There were a few unique stores here that were interesting to visit.Visited September 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten July 2, 2024
- Vincent I3 contributionsWeekend Family FunReally enjoyable experience. Lots to see . Shopping activities and variety of places to dine . Wonder Works was truly unique with things to interest children and adults. The hangout offered a family lunch venue with entertainment. Top it off with a visit to the Aquarium. A full and enjoyable day.Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten July 22, 2024
- Aaron20152016Deer Park, New York75 contributionsLots to do and seeBroadway at the beach is like an outdoor mall on steroids. Lots of great unique stores and lots of entertainment, some of it free. A good walk too. We went twice, once at night and once in the day. We saw the Adrenaline show at night. We also ate at Margaritaville. During the day we took a ride on the observation wheel, had an ice cream shake at Ben and Jerry's, got a cookie at 5 o'clock cookie, got wine slushy, fed the fish and ducks and did a little shopping. The shops are all air conditioned which is an incentive to get you to go in and browse when it is hot out. Don't miss this one on your trip to Myrtle Beach.Visited August 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten August 29, 2024

Visitors can find a variety of activities at the family-friendly Broadway at the Beach district, home to many attractions. Other popular activities include mini-golf, a water park, a wax museum, boat rides, and helicopter tours.
Nothing says Myrtle Beach vacation quite like Broadway at the Beach. This sprawling entertainment complex is one of Myrtle Beach’s most iconic landmarks and a must-visit stop when you’re in town.
It features features crowd-pleasing restaurants like the Hard Rock Cafe, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, and Wahlburgers, as well as popular attractions, such as Ripley's Aquarium, WonderWorks, and the Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center.
,
There are theaters for concerts and other live performances, more than a dozen eateries, three hotels and all sorts of entertainment, including a piano bar and a comedy club. In the summer, there are firework displays every Tuesday and select Friday nights, as well as other family-friendly events.
There is no charge to visit Broadway at the Beach, but certain attractions charge fees. Parking can be hard to find on busy days, even, there are like 1000s of parking spots are there.

This is a delightful tourist spot with just about everything one would hope to find while vacationing. Several affordable and quality hotels surround the property within easy walking distance for convenience. But the center provides ample well-lit and safe parking. Amusements abound with Dave & Busters, Charles Bach's Wonders Theater, Legends concert venue, the always fun WonderWorks, Ripley's Aquarium, Hollywood Wax Museum, thrilling jet boat rides, and carnival rides. Excellent restaurants including Melts, American Tap House, Hard Rock Cafe, Buffet's Margaritaville, Paula Dean's Family Kitchen, and many others. Add in the quaint artist, specialty, and treat shops and you have everything you need for a full day (or more) of entertainment. This was a fun and leisurely visit.

My husband and I recently returned from a trip to Myrtle Beach and Broadway At The Beach. We had fun, but the weather was very hot and humid. There's something for everyone, but be prepared to pay. We visited Wonderworks, the Wax Museum and Ripley's Aquarium. We were there on a Tuesday, and with school being over for the year, there were quite a number of children. The Aquarium and the Wax Museum moved along with few lines and good indoor space. Wonderworks, on the other hand, is a very popular attraction for children and teens. Its very hands-on and children love it, so many indoor areas would be full of children waiting to try the different activities. Tired parents were trying to find places to sit as they waited for their children to enjoy the activities. It was organized chaos. My husband and I left after about an hour inside Wonderworks. Our cost for 2 people for this attraction was $62.33 including tax.
Our cost for Ripley's Aquarium was $68.78 for 2 people. Senior discounts are available for many attractions at Broadway At The Beach. Have fun!

It's a waste of time going on the shoulder seasons. Everything closes at 8:00, amusement rides have the lights on but do not run. Prices of virtually everything are outrageous, even for the tourist trap it is. Many of the store employees are incredibly annoying and very scripted. I know it's hard to get good help these days and it's obvious at most of the places there. We went 5 times hoping it would be better than the previous times but never felt anything other than, disappointed. The only reason we went 5 times is we were staying a 5-minute drive away. If you have 4-14 year old kids that have never gone to a great venue, they might be impressed. Otherwise, drive to the ocean to the real boardwalk! We had a blast at the Ocean side attractions.

The BEST thing about Broadway at the Beach in the summer is joining the dance party with Mr. Nigel (from Mr. Nigel & Friends)!! He is there every weekday evening and is usually located in the square between Build a Bear and It'Sugar. He is energetic, funny, and really gets the crowd engaged and having fun. We go to Myrtle Beach for a week every summer and we go to Broadway multiple evenings to be part of the free family friendly party Mr. Nigel provides from 8:00-10:00pm. Look for his party bus parked near the big slide entrance to Broadway at the Beach. We look forward to seeing Mr. Nigel again next summer!

This is a great place to cover a lot of ground. Be sure to get a map of the park if you want to go certain places and save yourself tons of walking.
There are numerous rides, loads of shopping, and restaurants. We had my 80 yr old Mom with us, so we rented a wheelchair at the entrance for the day for $15. There's lots of walking, so wear good shoes. We bought fish food ($5/cup) and fed the fish and ducks in the lake. Rode the jet boat, it was great and you don't get wet hardly at all. Take a little cash or bring your card with you to tip the boat driver when you leave.

Lot of the stores are close, weather is bad for the beach. I googled before booked my trip and it said great time to go, not a lot of people and weather in the 70s… not true it’s cold and windy. We had to find stuff to do inside because of the cold

SO many things to do for all ages. We easily spent 300 here at night by partaking in a few activities with two kids and one adult. It is definitely pricey but we had so much fun. If you have a tight budget I could see it being tough to have a great time with little ines not being able to do all the activities and what not.

The array of shops was magnificent from clothiers to specialty food. Some stores were closed for the. Christmas holidays but many remained open for business. The boat 🚤 ride was unique providing excitement for the crowd. Prices were typical for a tourist attraction. Parking was easy for handicapped people.

Spent the evening with an escape room, dinner, and ice cream for dessert for teenagers and parents. We did the krampus escape room as a Christmas in July vacation family fun game. This was a first family experience game and all had a good time. We escaped and succeeded in under an hour. The story was well done the puzzles were challenging and involved several rooms. We then walked around and though we put in our name at Gard Rock we ended up at Senior Frogs. The food was hit and fresh. It was a good time party karaoke and eatery in one. The was as art staff was friendly and very conscientious When we left an item. They had it at the bat waiting for us. Thank you!! Finally we had ice cream at Kilwinds which never lets down In was not cheap but everyone enjoyed the time together

We are going to Myrtle beach early April and staying at the hotel in Broadway at the Beach. The construction I have seen pictures of make me wonder if I need to reconsider. We stayed there about 2 years ago and we loved it. But it looks pretty sad now. If anyone has been there lately and has an update I would really appreciate it. Is the construction as bad as it looks in the photos on line?
Thanks to anyone who has some info for me.

Hi, planning to be there tomorrow for fireworks, what's the best place to view them? Which shop/area to hang out by for the fireworks? Also, is it difficult to get parking here at this time of the year, just thinking how early to get there. Thank you.
Written August 12, 2019
Close to the bridge entrances is the best. They close the bridges during the show because the fireworks are shot over the water.
