I couldn’t do it.... too chicken. The warning sign was enough to tell me I couldn’t handle it. Kids 9-17 went with dad. The younger two came out shaking and in tears, the third youngest (a teen) almost vomited from fright and the oldest teen had a good time but didn’t like how loud it was. Their dad on the other hand came out laughing his arse off. All in all I’d say it delivered on its claim to be terrifying.

My husband and the kids enjoyed this venue. We will definitely be back to visit again. I did not go because it's not my thing, but they had fun.

Ripley's Haunted Adventure on Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach is a fun experience with a lot of cool items to check out and haunting to be a part of. I really like stuff like this where you can be transported to a different world and escape a little. I enjoyed everything here and would for sure come back again.

I suspect that this attraction is probably a lot of fun during the spring break and summer months. But during the off-season (early March for us) they only had one guy working as an actor inside. He chased us with a chainsaw once, and that was the last we saw of him. You could tel there were lots of places that are intended for other actors to jump out and scare you, but no one else was there. My advice is to try it out if it is peak season, but in the winter months, stay away.
