In our backyard....and we loved sitting on our patio and talking to the golfers...not excited about a Huge house that I am sure will be built right in our nice view...
Sure miss the Golf course, and the Golfers, and the Great View..

It was a nice wide layout that was driver-friendly as you would expect for a John Daly course, but no sense in giving a review since it is now closed :(

One of the best pure golf courses in the Grand Strand. Just too bad it is closing forever sept. 2015. It will be missed by hackers everywhere.

Just the way John Daly likes to play. Bring your big stick and swing away. Very much like the links courses of Scotland.

I have heard rumors that it is closing down soon, as it has been sold.

Played there this week and it was in good shape. The green were a little bumpy as they were punched a few weeks ago. Fun golf course and not too expensive. Too bad it will be closing in September

I'll admit that the course was in pretty good shape. But by the time we got to the back nine we found ourselves behind back-to-back fivesomes. The Ranger's solution? Let the twosome behind us join us so we slow down. Nice course management you clown.

The club house is fantastic, beautiful restaurant and pro shop. Tee off times are well controlled so not to bunch up the course.

The course itself is very well maintained, the greens and fairways in good shape. A challenging course with plenty of water and deep bunkers to trap you. From the tee the course is designed to allow you to let loose with your driver in they style of John Daly who designed it. But up towards the green, watch out, water and unforgiving bunkers.,

The first day we played there we were told the course was closing May 15, we played there two days later and the Course Marshall told us this has been extended to September and a wait and see. It would be too bad to loose such a scenic, well maintained, well laid out and challenging course.

This course is LONG and WIDE. Very much like some of the links courses in Scotland. Watch out for the pot bunkers, they'll get you every time...

Staff in pro shop and snack bar were great. Couse not so much. Needs work but course is for sale so maybe not taking care of the grounds.

This was one of the worst golf courses in an area blessed with very nice ones. The course is uninteresting with wide open fairways and very few features (like trees, water, etc.) It was early in the season, however, the fairways played like roughs and the greens were awful. Sorry, we only did nine holes and the cost was more than many of the better courses. John Daly's name is attached and for what it's worth, the clubhouse has some nice memorabilia.
