Polynesian Fire Luau and Dinner Show Ticket in Myrtle Beach

231 reviews
Experience the spirit of the Polynesian islands without leaving South Carolina during a dinner show and luau in Myrtle Beach. The evening's entertainment begins with a lei greeting and buffet dinner, then continues with a fire and dance performance. The show includes live music, acrobatics, and performances by fire knife champions who hail from various Polynesian islands.

Word is the course has been sold to Chinese investors to build a housing community. The course is in good shape. The cart path is not. Very forgiving fairways and greens. We had a very good time. Took us just over 4 hours to play 18 holes with 4 people.

We have a group of ladies that golf every week. We have generally about 10-14 players. Our organizer last week was quoted $39 plus tax to play but when we all arrived Bill Hewett charged everyone $50. A few of us are the Myrtle Beach Passport it he wouldn’t honor that nor give a local discount which is common in the area. Bill was rude to all 11 of us which is unacceptable. He clearly shouldn’t be at the front desk dealing with the public in this business. As local residents he doesn’t fully understand the power of social media. It’s unfortunate because we enjoyed the course and the gentlemen on the bags and carts but would never return because of the way we were treated.

The manager at Possum Trot is a jackass! I booked a group of ladies to play golf today (2 weeks ago) and was quoted a price of $39 plus tax. When we got there this morning they charged us $50 dollars. When I went back in and told him I was quoted $39 he said that's only if you book within two days of the tee time. Hmmm, hard to book a large group with tee times with only two days notice. I also didn't appreciate the fact that the jerk snickered when I questioned it. This was obviously an issue with the ladies and believe me we will spread the news to other ladies groups... Attitudes like this are probably why the course has been sold to put up houses. What a jerk!

04/27/2019 - If you judge this course by the broken and narrow asphalt road leading up to the bag drop and the untrimmed landscaping upon arrival, you'll be thrilled after you play Possum Trot. The club house is dated and simple but effective. The asphalt carts paths are narrow and in need of repair however course conditions were OUTSTANDING. Of the 5 courses we played in North MB this week, this was one of a few where the fairways and greens were in fantastic shape! We loved it so much we played 36 holes. You cant beat this North MB course for the value!!!!!

Course is rumoured to close end of this year. That would be tragic. This course is superb. Fairways dry and greens roll true. Bag guys super friendly. Pro shop people professional, helpful and friendly. Course is vert well maintained. Would recommend to anyone.
