I have a second home in Myrtle Beach. Whenever I'm in town and want to play a course that's close, Pine Lakes is my "go to". It's the course that's in the best shape with a fair price without having to drive any real distance in town. It's also pretty cool because of the history of the place, the fact... More

Beautiful club house, staff was very friendly. We got there well ahead of our tee time, and they sent us right out. Greens were in good shape in spite of being aerated within a week. May have given it a 5 rating if they had coolers for the beer. Getting a six-pack with ice in a double plastic bag is... More

This is a great golf course that was in excellent condition... most hole have pretty wide fairways...but there are a few that get tight... the front sides greens are huge witch is a signature for old course... the clubhouse house is beautiful.... I seen the reviews on here talking about some mean starter.... mabey he was off the day I... More

Normally I wouldn't comment on comments made in other reviews but I felt that in this case I must respond to say that we (3 friends and I) played this course on May 6th 2016 (36 holes) and did very clearly see and use the driving range (yes there is one) Secondly we were treated extremely well by the starter... Good golf course, well laid out and maintained. No practice driving range, bunkers need work. Would give this course a 4-star rating however one individual who was apparently afflicted with a Napoleon Complex, lurking at the 10th tee and enamored with a "sheriff's" badge clearly must have missed the employee training lecture of "customer service". I can't imagine that the... More

This was our second time here, with the memories of the first bringing us back. Unfortunately, the second experience was nowhere near the first. Course conditions were so so, and pace of play was terrible. They have done a renovation of the clubhouse, which is pretty nice, and we ended up having lunch there which worked pretty well. The server... More

Every golfer who visits MB should play Pine Lakes. The service is excellent from the bag guys to the professional staff. The course is in very good condition. The greens and fairways are excellent. If you like southern charm and hospitality, Pine Lakes C.C. is for you. The club house is expansive and typical of old southern style. The food... More

2nd time we played Pine Lakes, in the passed 2 years, but I didn't make the tee times this year. I would say the course would rate a "C" overall. The green would be " B+". The fairways a " C+". The roughs if you could find grass, "D". Mostly dirt. The outside staff was helpful and friendly. They need... More

Played today and it was OK. Was more expensive than other courses we played in the area and really not that much better. When you pull in there are no signs for the bag drop. You need to drive to the right of the club house to find it. We ended up carrying out bags. There is no driving range.... More

If you go to myrtle beach to play golf then you have to play a round here. The first course to be built in m.b. and that's why they call it the Granddaddy. You can choose to have a regular driving golf cart or one with a RollsRoyce front. We choose the regular. The course was in excellent shape for... More
