Had an amazing time parasailing today! It was our first time and they made it fun and easy. We would definitely go again. The banana boat ride to and from the parasailing boat was great too! We bought the photos and are so glad we did. The whole experience was fantastic!

Three of us went up (2 first-timers) with OWS and it was simply a great ride. In fact we enjoyed the banana boat ride out to the big boat was almost as much fun as the parasailing. The whole staff was friendly and made sure we were safe at all times. You don't need a camera as they take the pictures and let you buy them at the end, and of course we did. All in all, a great experience and glad we picked OWS for our first parasailing adventure!!!

This location is closed. You wouldn't know it because Aloha bought them out. This makes it difficult when planning something close to where you are staying. I spent $93 on a Lyft and then couldn't go because of flooding. I felt taken advantage of because they are fishing off of this location.

Over the Labor Day holiday my family and I were so excited to indulge in water activities and due to our skin color we were denied access although they blamed it on alcohol intoxication we KNOW it was racial profiling, a caucasian female signed a waiver for her and 4 friends with a drink in her hand, and if they are so worried about adults drinking it’s not safe to have a bar 2 steps away from the banana boat rental. I will NEVER take MY money or my family here again! Then after the man getting his legs chopped off trying to parasail a few weeks ago that should’ve been a red flag anyway! No THANK YOU THEY ARE RACIST!!

My husband and I have been visiting Myrtle Beach for years and using this company every year, a few times per year. We have never had a terrible experience until today; enough to make me want to review the place and share my experience. We rented the jetskis and everything was perfectly fine until the ride in. After a rough ride we decided to cut our outing short because I hurt my leg. We are coming in slow to 5gr shore, as we typically do and this staff member is waving us in, faster, and faster, as if we were taking too long. So finally after noticing his unwillingness to let us take our time since I was in pain from hurting my leg (Again the water was extremely rough this day). The guy waving us in starts screaming at us when we finally accelerate to him, shouting in our face that the particular jetski we were on was his and how it was an $800 piece of equipment. I could not figure out what we were doing that he had such an issue with other than the staff put us on his personal jetski which again we did not know, and I don't know why a company would be so irresponsible to put us on someones jetski that wasn't insured through them either. I don't know what his terrible attitude was for or his reason for his cockiness, but he was out of line; rather it was us on his equipment,us coming in too slow or too fast for his liking; but he was one of the rudest individuals I have ever encountered. His announcment in our faces about the cost of his personal jetski struck a nerve too and was offensive. as if we didn't understand the valve or was unable to afford a such thing not knowing what our professional background may be, what company we may own, or what type of vehicle payments we my have a month and that dollar figure in comparison. I find it humorous they require a $400 deposit and they were holding my credit card to rent a staff members jetski; and this is where I felt his rudeness could've spared the screaming and let us return his borrowed item (after all he had our credit cards, my purse and all of our valuables) and stop letting individuals rent it or use it to avoid any worry of what one may do to it. It's obviously a very valuable piece of equipment to him. We won't be returning. He was rude from the beginning to the end. Ruined our experience and we will more than likely never return because of one bad apple. I would not recommend them after this experience and I'll be sure to share my experience with those who ask for recommendations.

I came to Myrtle Beach wit my two sons aged 11 and 14 and I thought a banana boat ride would be a fun thing to do. My 11 year old refused to go and I teased him about being afraid. In fact the young lady at the counter tried to convince him that the driver will go as slow as he wants and that it would be a great experience. He still refused so the 14 yr old and I got on a boat with 3 other people and started to go. The ride was fun at first but then the rider from the other group wanted the driver to go faster and I could not hold on and fell off the boat twice and injured my left leg. I am so glad my 11 yr old did not go because he would have freaked out. The driver did not listen to my request to go slower and I feel it was irresponsible of the company to convince people of their safety while doing otherwise. I've done parasailing before and I've felt much safer. I will never do this again.

Good luck finding them if you're not staying right near their beach. We drove by the Family Fun park looking for their sign and never saw it. We finally found their number online, called and found out that they are located directly on the beach behind a roller coaster. We made a reservation for 2:00 pm and discovered that we were not alone. I don't get their reservation policy. They book 20 or 30 people at the same time. So you pay, get a wristband, and wait to be called. We waited 45 minutes. There were 3 of us and I didn't know we could all parasail together, so I paid for 2 tandem rides thinking one of us would go twice. When we got on the banana boat (more about that later), the group we were with also had 3 and they were all parasailing together. So at the last minute, we asked the captain if we could do the same. I don't know why they didn't offer this to me at the window where I paid. Anyway, I was wondering how we would get to the boat where you parasail from. I soon learned that we would be sitting 3 on a side (front to back - 6 of us total) and had only 2 small canvas straps to hold onto while the driver sped at top speed around in circles and over huge waves. We were all holding on for dear life and bouncing high up off the surface of the banana boat. I saw that some customers paid to do this as a separate ride, but I would not care to repeat it. The driver never turned around to see if anyone had fallen off, which could easily have happened. Luckily, none of us did. But on the return trip, one of the girls actually fell over and lost her grip. It was only because 2 of the other riders grabbed her by the leg and shorts that she was able to stay in the boat. By the way, the parasail ride is fun but it's over in about 4 minutes. There's no way we were up for the 10-12 minutes that was promised.

We chose to ride the banana boats because the website made it sound so awesome. It was roughly $50 and a terrible experience. We had never done anything like this but the website made it sound so simple. No instructions were given once we were there and we were told to just get on. The driver was rude and informed us that he had to maintain a certain speed so we were going to go fast. Me, my boyfriend and the four strangers we were with on the boat were falling over, falling off, and two girls were even crying because he was going so fast and hitting the waves so hard. I saw my life flash before my eyes and it was the first time in my life that I thought I wasn’t getting back to the shore alive. After the experience was over, my entire body just felt weak from having to hold on for dear life. It ruined the rest of my day and I wouldn’t do it again or recommend this to anyone!!!!

Booked a parasailing trip online. You have to ride a banana boat pulled by a jet ski out to the parasail boat. Jet ski driver was rude, rushing us onto that banana boat. He then sped thru the water, trying to outrun some big waves, but failed. Waves hit us hard, my teenage son and I were knocked into the water, with more big waves crashing over us. We had to swim back to shallow water and get back on the banana boat, at which time the jet ski driver yells "I told you to hurry up!" I really did not appreciate that after having hit the water so hard it broke both our glasses. There was never so much as a "sorry" or "Are you OK?". We did go on to parasail, and the two guys on the boat were nice, but we were so shaken up that it was hard to enjoy. I understand that we did this at our own risk, but the unprofessional, rude jet ski driver was uncalled for.

Do you get put in the water during parasailing and how high do you fly ?
Written May 18, 2018
They take you and dip your feet in the water when bringing you in but other then that you don’t get wet.

The Jet ski was awesome! Just make sure you dont wear just your bathing suit. If youre a female, i would recommend wearing some shorts overtop of your swimwear.

for jet ski rentals, are they set up on the beach or would you need your own truck and equipment to load and unload?
