We took the two hour dolphin watch tour while on her vacation to Myrtle Beach. This was our families first JetSki experience, my first in more than 20 years. The positive, the guys leaving the Torah very friendly and seemed to really enjoy their jobs, the equipment was in good shape. Teenagers without a license can drive as long as an adult is on the JetSki with them, so my 15 year old loved that. The beginning of the tour on the intercoastal is a great way to get used to operating Ledecky, as there are no wake zone where you just idle, and then open areas where you can go full speed.. I think we could’ve all done without the portion on the ocean. It was very choppy and lots of waves. It was a windy and cloudy days, so I don’t know if that contributed. My husband and daughter flipped off And then struggled to get back to their JetSki that was floating away. My husband was sore for a week. I would say if you were not in very good shape, going jet skiiing is probably not a good idea for you. We did not see any dolphins the entire two hour tour, and felt rushed to get back, probably after idling for a while while my husband and daughter got back on their JetSki. I know seeing dolphins is never guaranteed, but read so many good reviews and personally spoke with another family who saw tons, so I would’ve thought we at least saw a few. Marie, I think two out of four of us would try it again, may be a little bit shorter tour, especially if you’re new to jet skiing, are over 40 or not in great physical shape!

Excellent crash course in jet skis, enough supervision to make you feel safe without making you feel “watched,” attentive, knowledgeable staff.

We booked an 8:00 hour long rental to get the lowest price and had a lot of fun. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the jet skis were all new and well taken care of.

The boat was clean and very nice. Comfortably seated 11 of us. We visited two beaches and enjoyed the sand dunes. Eight hours went by fast!

Fun ride. Narrow ride area - thin strip of intracoastal waterwat. Makes it dangerous for turns, jumps, etc. Also, due to intracoastal, there were hardly any waves, so you needed to make your own. Price was steep. Seems like a monopoly where there are hardly any other vendors in close proximity. If there was, this would drive down price and maybe lead to more open water use.
