Everything you read about Bob, the tour guide, is spot on. He is knowledgeable, patient, and provides detailed instruction on the segway’s operation. The North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex tour includes traversing grass, asphalt, sidewalks, dirt paths, and boardwalks with limited traffic interference (great for people new to the segway). Myrtle Beach Segway worked with me when one individual in my party had a flight delayed by a day and couldn’t make our scheduled tour. Myrtle Beach Segway rescheduled our tour 24 hours later. Greatly appreciated! As a bonus, we toured during the “The Great Christmas Light Show” and got to see many of the displays (mostly unlit due to daylight, of course, but some in the forest were lit and pretty). The business office can be a little hard to find (leave a little early) but it’s worth the effort. Bob also gave us great restaurant and ‘things to do’ recommendations from his personal experiences as a ‘local.’ I highly recommend this tour with Bob. We can’t wait to return to do Bob’s “Huntington Beach State Park” tour.

We rented segways for an hour at the Market Common location, and we highly recommend them for a fun family activity. Sue Ellen was a fantastic trainer, and she gave us lots of tips for routes to follow and safeguards to take. We look forward to renting them again when other family members visit us at the beach.

We had a great time at Myrtle beach Segways. Our guide Angie was friendly and kind. She demonstrated how to use a segway with knowledge and skill and was patient with each one of us as we learned. The scenery throughout the route wad beautiful. I would highly recommend this experience.

Our 2 hour tour left 25 minutes late because one party arrived late. At the end the Segways were out of battery so we had to end without getting our full time. Evidently, the morning tour group had taken more than their share of the battery life. Better to have a hard policy of starting and stopping the tours on time, letting late arrivals just miss it. There were 7 people scheduled on this tour, 2 people cost us 1/4 the value of our trip.

We do our best to start on time, but there are times that people run late. It happens. Instead of leaving a bad review, some contact on your part would have been nice to allow us to remedy the situation. Happy New Year!

This tour looked really fun and all the reviews on line raved about how great it was so i wanted to give it a try. It was just the two of us and no one else was booked in the tour but us that day. Tony was our guide and instructor, he was great and taught us all we needed to know as first time riders. We rode all over the park and saw many birds and some gators. It poured rain while we were on the tour and I didn't care it was so much fun riding the segways i would have done it for another 2 hours! I am home now and looking intoo doing some segway tours in my own area. Love, love, love riding them!

Great tour by Bob, we saw alligators in the wild, birds, old historic sites and nature trails. Never been on a segway and it 62 years old was a little unsure. The instruction is great and figured it out quickly. Tour guide was very good about avoiding hazards and pointing out road imperfections. Also he took photos and videos of our ride with our iphones. Great trip, highly recommended.

My wife and I had never ridden a Segway before and thought this might be a cool thing to try. We went on a Friday afternoon and as luck would have it, it was just my wife, myself, and our tour guide Angie. Normally, there can be up to eight guests. Surprisingly, we quickly learned how to control the Segway as it is mostly balance and a mindset that you can do this. After a few minutes of coaching from Angie we were off around the park to have some fun. We travelled along the park roads, into the woods, over a wooden bridge and around the lake. It was a great hour of run and adventure. My wife, who normally doesn't like to do these kind for things, was ecstatic and said she loved it. We plan to go back on our next trip to the beach. Try it. You'll love it!

We did the tour at the sports complex and it was very fun, and one of the best segway tours we've done! We got to ride through the nature trails, which is a very unique terrain to ride on with segways. Our guide was super nice and you could tell he enjoys doing tours. He was generous with his time and in wanted us to have a good time. Im glad we did this tour and Id recommend it to others! Id recommend doing an earlier tour rather than a later one to avoid heat of the day.

We had a great time despite some Karen’s also being there. They were not very nice to our guide but he handled it with grace and professionalism! Safety was first priority for the guide and it showed. They made sure everyone was comfortable with the segways before starting…he even gave his own Segway to a novice rider so she was more comfortable! The trail and views were fun and easy to navigate. Totally worth doing again!

we were three wives tagging along on a golf outting. one loves to plan travel, and came up with the recommendation of the myrtle beach segway tour of huntington state park. our tour guide tony spent time at the beginning making sure we were properly trained, and were comfortable on the segway. we spent two hours riding all thru the park, seeing wildlife, learning the history of the park, and having a great time.
