I was surprised with a spa package at The Awakening Spa for my 60th birthday. My children couldn’t have chosen a more beautiful and relaxing place to celebrate my birthday. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and each of the therapists were unbelievable. I have visited many five star spas in the past, and The Awakening Spa at Anderson Ocean Club is definitely worth the trip.

What a wonderful experience. I’m not easy to relax and enjoy being pampered, but I truly did at my spa experience. The Sea Mud Body Wrap was so enjoyable and Michele was very nice. She made me feel comfortable, which is probably why I felt so relaxed. Everyone was kind and friendly and engaging. A very nice way to spend my birthday.

I took advantage of the Spa Special which included a facial and massage. oh.my. goodness. Both were amazing! I would rate both the best massage and facial I have had. So relaxing. Both techs were amazing, friendly, personable and professional. Lakyra was my massage therapist and Kimberly did my facial. The calming/relaxing feeling started as soon as you walked in the door. Then continued from the front desk to the back. This spa thought of everything. Nice dressing area with private restrooms PLUS showers to use, if you want, after your spa day. They really thought of everything, even the smallest of details like having fresh brushes and combs to use after your shower. I added a peppermint oil scalp treatment to my massage (go ahead, add an add on, treat yourself, so worth it). I took full advantage of the shower to wash out the oil in my hair before leaving. Truly the best spa experience I have ever had from beginning to end. If we come back to Myrtle Beach, this will be on the agenda.
