Savannah's Playground is a very big playground located in Market Common. It has 2 unattended entrances/exits but otherwise has a high fence enclosure. It has lots of things to try, Things most playgrounds do not have and kids love it. I'd highly recommend it for children of all ages.

On the downside, because it's so big, kids are running all over the place. And many are not being monitored well by parents. So if you are going to go, make sure you keep a close eye on your kids. It's easy to lose track of them. There are very few benches for sitting. An ice cream truck stops by frequently, so trash cans get full fast and benches get drippings on them too. Take some wipes with you.

Absolutely amazing park in Market Commons. It’s huge in size and has so many different play structures and equipment. This all-inclusive is perfect for children of all ages and abilities. It’s clean, safe and has a soft rubber surface. It’s almost completely enclosed, (the entrance is open - no gate). With the absence of huge drop offs, my 2.5 year old was able to safely go on the highest play structure. The park is located next to a pond with a paved trail around it, great for walks.

Amazing. This place is huge and so much fun. If you've been to the Sassafras playground in Raleigh, this one is bigger than that. The only disappointment was that the sound garden doesn't have mallets to play on the sound garden. The bathrooms were great and large. It was easy to fit a stroller through the door and bring the family in at once. There was ple ty of seating for parents. Parking was easy.

We definitely recommend visiting. Then walk overthe bridge to eat at the nacho place.

Savannah’s Playground is a wonderful place for children of all ages to have fun for free! When we went, there were a lot of people there-but the playground is so large large and set up with different stations, it was not a problem. Our 5 year old twins especially loved the “zip lines”. There are two different versions - a version for younger children to be strapped into a seat and a version for older children to hold onto a rope and stand/sit on a disc. Our kids loved both.

Our kids also enjoyed the large playground at the entry which houses multiple slides, various ways to climb, obstacles and more. The tallest portion of this area is designed to resemble a tree and has three tall slides. A portion of this play area is also accessible by wheelchair and other mobility devices with accessible slides and other activities available. There are some shaded areas on this part of the playground, especially at the tree-but I can imagine it would be really hot in the middle of summer (we were here in December).

The playground also boasts a fairly large outdoor music area where children (and adults) can play built-in drums, chimes and various xylophones.

The playground also contains an area for older children and adults with obstacle courses designed out of rope and tires. Our kids didn’t play here long as it was too difficult for their age.

Another wonderful feature of the playground is it’s proximity to the Market Commons. After playing for a bit late afternoon/evening, we walked over to PF Chang’s for dinner.

I can not recommend this playground enough while you are visiting with family!

We were there in January and I was so impressed!! Wow!! :)

There are bathroom facilities open (we were there on a week day), wifi, and free parking!! What more could a parent ask for...well, an absolutely amazing park for all ages!!

There is;
- multiple toddlers areas (with shades)
- swings for all ages and physical abilities
- benches and swing benches for parents/guardians
- huge play structure for all ages (with shades)
- zip line for all ages and physical abilities
- musical area

Plus much, much more....we were there for almost 2 hours and the kids ran nonstop. Now, looking at other peoples pictures I see there are areas we didn’t get to! Awesome!!

Some of the areas were closed off for maintenance and more play area being built.

I am so over the top impressed! So well thought out. I would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone!!

And if your done playing you can go for a walk around the lake.

Woooooooow!! Go, you’ll be happy you did!!

This is the best playground we have visited. Such a variety of things to explore. We could have stayed for much longer. There were tons of things for both kids to enjoy (3yr old and a 16 mth old).

We visited here with 4 adults and 3 kids under 5yo. The kids had the time of their life! There is so much play equipment here for children from toddler age up, of differing abilities. There is a large music section, and toddler-specific section, zip lines and climbing frames for the older kids. The playground surface is fairly soft and forgiving for when the kids fall down. There was also a water fountain and small rest-room building. Next to the playground is a grassy sports area, with several ponds with ducks and turtles. The only slight drawback we found was that there was little shade, but the kids didn’t seem to mind.
