Murrels Inlet is a short drive from the crowds of Myrtle beach.Take the cooler and enjoy the wide stance of open shoreline with clean restrooms and showers for getting the great sand off.

I took my dog to the beach at this state park. It was his first visit to the ocean. Not sure if he liked it or not. This was a beautiful state park and the beach was empty which was great.

Love this beach!! No houses, high-rise hotels or condos. Looking north toward Myrtle Beach, all you see is sand and the ocean. Reminds me of some tropical beaches we have been to. Yearly pass for seniors is $37.50..a real bargain in this day and age.

I love that the beach has life guards on duty during the summer months. It is a lovely place to take your family for the beach or to bike in the area , or observing nature.

Huntington Beach SP is a beautiful spot on the Atlantic Ocean with 2 beach locations, camping, store, & a variety of wildlife (including alligators in the marsh).

Spent an hour on the marsh watching the alligators and egrets prior to the arrival of a tropical storm. It was exhilarating and beautiful. Definitely will go again.

If you reserved the site, then it should be yours. I have seen tents blended in with RV sites multiple times in our travels there. I don't see it should be a problem. If you are concerned, you could call them, but... More
