There are no buildings on the beach and it is very private and secluded. I found it odd that they charged us $5 a head for a state park.

I been to the park a few times and enjoyed it but that was prior to hurricane Mathew. I understand the beach and dunes suffered extensive damage.

No camping on the beach but the sites are under a 1/2 mile to the ocean. Enjoy.

We came in via 95 to 501 through Myrtle beach. There is an avis/budget at a sears auto center 501 and 17 bypass road. Easy drive up location for the camper took the car and went down 17 to the park from there. Very... More
