This was the selling point for me to buy property there. It's the next best thing to owning beach front. Having access not too far from home, and when on vacation the beach is just a few miles down the road. This is private and always nice and not overcrowded.

Awesome place to stay and close to many interesting places. ..very friendly people. Hated the sandspurs but I guess that comes with the area. Needs garbage cans throughout the campground. Picking up your dog's business and taking it back to your campsite or to the entrance dumpsters was a little annoying. But in return the campground was very clean so... More

The marsh walk was so pretty! We saw alligators and all sorts of water birds. Atalaya House was interesting to walk through. It felt slightly creepy and mysterious. It provided some great photos. The beach is a lot quieter than Myrtle Beach. We enjoyed watching the coquina clams dig into the sand.

My grand daughters like visiting here and walking the shallow water to look for shark teeth. Never a letdown!!!! We always find small teeth in the sand. Gift shop is very affordable!!

After several visits this week to this beautiful beach park, I am willing to give it an all thumbs up! The beach is spectacular with fine clean hard packed sand, and as the tide goes out, the beach gets better and better the lower the tide! The grounds are immaculate, the water is crystal clear, and there are very few... More

We camp at Huntington Beach on average 2-3 times each year. The campsites are spacious and level and within walking distance of the beach. The beaches aren't crowded even in the summer. There is a beautiful causeway for bird watching and you might get lucky and see an alligator or two. If you are history buff, you will enjoy touring... More

My husband and I camped here about 25 years ago with our (then) young children. We decided to come back with a little camper we have just purchased and see what has changed. The campground is in a little different "location' thanks to several storms over the years. The campsites sit back from the beach in a more wooded section,... More

Camped here for 2 nights with our T@G XL. We did not have a reservation so our site was more in the middle of everyone but it was still spacious. They did have some wonderful more secluded sites as well. The beach was so close - you could hear the ocean waves at night. Beautiful sand - miles and miles.... More

This is a wonderful 5 mile long clean beach. It had restrooms, picnic tables, a boardwalk for viewing birds and alligators as well as the Huntington Mansion, Atalaya.
