First time for our group, and we had a load of fun! It was more thrilling than any of us anticipated, and we’ve had some experience with tubing and other water sports. The checkin process was super easy. Definitely rent the goggles, as all people on the banana will get fast-moving water in your face. The driver knew what she was doing. She gave us a great ride full of turns, and she kept a constant lookout for other watercraft/objects and kept looking back frequently to check on us. She also gave us a handy tip on how to stay on the banana after we all landed in a puppy pile lol!! Will do this again!

We took the sunset cruise and had a great time! Even though it was a little cloudy for a beautiful sunset, the weather was perfect and we enjoyed our boat ride! We chose the upper deck which with a coupon is only a couple dollars more and we were so glad we did! It made the experience feel like only the 4 of us (another couple chose the top deck as well) on the boat. The driver was friendly and answered all our questions about the area while the other guy on board ran his butt off getting everyone drinks and making sure they were having a great time.
If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely choose this company again!!

My husband and I took the dolphin cruise the day before our 31st anniversary. We so enjoyed this cruise. Granted it was a little chilly due to the weather. The captain and crew member did a fantastic job of locating dolphins and giving educational information along the water front. Had the weather been better that week, we might have considered a sunset cruise with this company. All the staff we interacted with were helpful, polite and very professional.

Dive the Cpt Chen artificial reef this time. Dive with them, but don’t get fills from them. Boat crew was very helpful, and did a great job bringing gear on, and off boat; they brought gear back across street to shop. Left my tanks there to get filled, and pick up next day. Tanks were filled, and the Nitrox mix matched what was labeled on tanks. Two gripes, first, fills were way over priced. I paid twice market rate was (I should have asked, but have never had such a large price discrepancy in my years of diving); it would have been cheaper for me to rent another set of doubles from my local dive shop than to get fills there. They charged about $70 to just fill 2x LP 98s, and 2x HP 100s. I typically pay $26 to rent the 98s with a nitrox fill. Confirmed later that Coastal Scuba, nearby, has much better fill prices. Second, they don’t over fill tanks if you ask, and they didn’t even fill to the rates pressure of either set. My 98s were rated to 2640 PSI, and the wee filled to 2500. The 100s were under filled as well, can’t recall those numbers from my dive buddy.

We rented a pontoon boat and I will start out by saying that the staff was excellent to deal with. Very friendly and welcoming! I would have given a higher score but feel we were just a little misled with the boat rental description. What we read stated that we could go to the inlet or up the other side all the way to Garden City. However, when we got on the boat our very friendly assistant told us we should stay away from going that way due to sandbars and low tide coming in. He advised us to stay up towards the inlet which we did appreciate the heads up. However, it was a very short ride to the inlet and we had 4 hours to kill. We rode up and down a couple of times then finally did pull up to one of the beaches for a swim. It was a beautiful spot but when you pay that much money for a boat rental it would have been nice to spend more time on the actual boat sightseeing. Then as we were told we did come back during low tide and it is so narrow coming back to the boat dock that we were either bottoming out on the left side or we would have hit the boats at dock on the right. Very nerve racking for sure. Again, everyone was very friendly and the boat was beautiful. We would have just preferred a little more "boating" in our boat rental. Next time we will go with the jet skis or the banana boat as it looked like they were having a blast!

My family did the echo tour it had nice and newer jet skis, very stinky life vests, got super up close with dolphins and our tour guides were pretty nice. I only gave it 3 stars due to the 4 of us costing almost $700 and were not given back our IDs or credit card. It is partly our fault but I feel like whenever we looked at the pictures (which were only taken in the begging when we took off (not worth $20)) and asked "is that all?" They should of remembered to give us back our ID and credit card. When we suddenly remembered and drove back they had a bin full of "left behind" IDs and credit cards.

We used Express Watersports for our late mother's burial at sea. Three hours was the right length to get to our desired location off the coast of Myrtle Beach State Park. (Due to EPA regulations "official" burials at sea must be conducted three miles off shore). We brought some of our own toasting beverages and they had beer and Coke also available for purchase. The PA system enabled my 18 guests to hear my tribute speech clearly. The Captain and JJ were a knowledgeable and polite duo who worked the crowd and made everyone feel comfortable. The 42 passenger boat was able to reach the seas with ease and not too much motion on a day with 2-3' waves until we found a calm spot offshore. I selected this company based on seeing advertising for some of their fun excursion and I'm look forward to using them in the future. As a bonus we hoped to see dolphins and thanks to their good rapport with other boats we were able to see a few before we reached the inlet. If you use them for a memorial service you are allowed to throw flowers into the ocean. Before I left home I brought roses and petals from Mom's rose bushes at home and everyone thought that was a nice touch. It was long delayed due to COVID but it was an important family gathering and Express Watersports is well-experienced in these matters and even provided a certificate with coordinates for future visitation. Thank you again!

My husband and I went Parasailing with Express Watersports in early April 2021. It was a new activity for both of us so we were really excited about going. We had six couples on our boat, and our trip was the last of the group so we got to watch the others and pick up on what to do. I would definitely recommend getting your pictures taken while parasailing as it is just that wonderful! You start out in a seated position with your legs out, and the parachute picks you up into the air and away you go. The tow line they use is about 400 feet long, so that gives you an idea of how high you fly. They will dip you into the ocean if you want them to, and then it sets you down back onto the back of the boat. I don't think I stopped smiling for the rest of the day, it was just that good! We will definitely do it again the next time we are in MB and would definitely recommend to anyone up for an exciting, cool adventure.

Booked the banana boat 3 days in advance and drove an hour only to be told our family of 5 couldn’t ride together. This was supposedly due to booking mistake which I believed to be a bold face lie. It’s all online so how could it be human error as we were told. The girl who told us this was matter of fact when she could tell we were unhappy. “you can either ride separate or rebook for another day/time”. My question would be, are we then guaranteed to ride together??
We felt like we didn’t have a choice so we went ahead and separately rode with strangers.
The man who drive is was good and we had a good time.
The girl taking our pictures was not to friendly and we can’t wait to see our pictures with strangers!!
If you are booking as a group I’d recommend calling to book and confirm that you’re riding together as they don’t seem to care to keep families together.

Hello and thank you for the review. We regret that you did not enjoy a private trip with your group. We could have arranged that no problem. We split some groups up because of weight. I’m also not sure how this was not communicated to the captains. We normally keep all groups together. Either the person taking the groups down didn’t tell the captains and/or you as well didn’t let them know you were in one group. We hope to see you and your group again soon and we will work hard to make sure we can keep groups together

The company and crew delivered on what we paid for. The hour long cruise into Murrells Inlet harbor was very nice. Our evening had a beautiful sunset and it was very relaxing. The Captain and first mate did a great job taking care of the guests. The young lady that worked to keep everyone drinks and snacks worked very hard from the time we left till we returned to ensure everyone was served. Recommend this short evening cruise and this company! Thanks
