From the second you drive into Blackmoor you are greeted by friendly helpful guys at the bag check. The Pro Shop staff especially Reed exemplify superior customer service. A really fair Gary Player designed course with challenging but fair holes. Greens were running great especially in mid August. Cart person and Rangers had ice cold water and ice. A real... More

I have played Blackmoor about 10 times over 25 years, and it still holds up. There are many more houses now, but they don't take away from the course. It's a shorter, shot making course, with lots of doglegs. If that's not your thing, you won't like it.

Good golf experience, challenging course, friendly and accommodating staff, but a super hot day. The course is in great condition. We were paired with very compatible partners and had a fun day. The pace of play was a little longer than usual as the grass was wet and we were asked not to drive the carts on the course. Which... More

Teed off with a buddy at 7:30am.... Finished at 11:20am....course played awesome. Greens were in amazing shape. Fairways cut longer then I expected but I'm assuming for the time of year to keep it maintainable. Practice range was real grass... Awesome. Had a few laughs with the starter and drink cart lady. Pair behind us and threesome in front of... More

A fun day on the links. The staff as you pull in are great and handle your clubs and questions as professionals. The course it's self makes a golfer play his or her bag of clubs. Can't just pull the big dawg! A fun day as we will be back to play for sure.

Walked in with no tee time in June asking to match online price of $35.00 but wanted $61. Went in and bought the BBQ pork sandwich and drink for 8 bucks and booked online. Pace of play was great. Good for a starter course on a golf trip or a second round fillerike we did. One hole has been shortened... More

If you're only going to golf one place this trip, don't waste your time going anywhere else. If you're like us and planned on golfing every couple days this trip, go here more than once. We golfed here on Tuesday and we're going back on Friday to end our Spring Break. The course is beautiful and in the best condition... More

This is our third year on vacation to play golf at the Blackmoor. The condition of the course has deteriorated since our visit last October. the greens were stressed and "well used" lots of old divots. The Fairways were hard, so if you usually take a divot, this is not the place for you. Also play was slow. The staff... More

Very nice golf course and quaint clubhouse. The greens rolled true and were well maintained along with the whole course. The Marshal and Starter was fantastic. The par threes were fun. The challenging part for a first timer was those doglegs and trying to play them properly (almost a guessing game a couple of holes with a couple of blind... More

The course seems like a nice layout, and is definitely friendly for higher handicap golfers, as it is short. The course was extremely wet from many days of rain, and so it was cart paths only. It took 5 and a half hours to play as a result. Would like to play it again some day when the course is... More
