2-Hour Guided Segway Tour of Huntington Beach State Park in Myrtle Beach

61 reviews
Come and join us for a 2-Hour Guided Segway Tour at one of the Grand Strand’s most beautiful wetland and wildlife preserves, Huntington Beach State Park in Myrtle Beach. Nature lovers will enjoy the park’s Environmental Education Center for the chance to see Loggerhead Turtles and other endangered wildlife species up close. The park’s freshwater lake along the causeway is a sure-fire place to see Alligators basking in the sun, a variety of bird species, and maybe even a mink or two.

Known for its natural beauty, Huntington Beach State Park was the former winter home of Anna Hyatt and Archer Huntington, sculptress and philanthropist, who left the park and adjacent Brookgreen Gardens as their legacy. Make sure to leave enough time in your day to also visit Atalaya, the picturesque, Moorish-style castle which was their residence and sculpting studios. This tour is around two hours in length with training. Still plenty of time to enjoy the beach and relax before or after your tour.

We play this course once a week and always enjoy it. A Gary Player design. It is a nice track and well maintained. People there are friendly and welcoming. You will enjoy this course.

What a great and fun course. Played it on March 9th,2020, with a group of 24. They had 3 inches of rain 3 days earlier. You could not tell it on the course. Fairways were fantastic and carts on fairways all the way. Greens were fast but putted true and fair. Bunkers were great to get out of. Staff was one of the best we have dealt with and I have been bringing a group of 24 to 40 to Myrtle every year since 1983. We recommend this course to all handicappers. We will return next year in March.

Been awhile since I played Blackmoor and it was wet but in great shape following a day with over 2" of rain...the course is tight on a lot of holes but was well overseeded for winter and greens were smooth and fast.....Played in under 4 hours also....kudos to the management for a great time!

The course was very wet due to rain the previous night but the rest of the courses we played during the week were dry. When asking at the next course the called Blackamoor "swampmoor" which tells me they may have drainage issues

My wife and I went to Blackmoor to use a rain-check for two nine holes that was over two years old. I forgot to bring my rain-check but no problem they found it on their computer in about 30 seconds and honor the rain check. I purchase two nine holes on a military/veterans rate for $40 with additional $5 tax so we could play 18 holes. I book a late tee time because I have major problems with my feet and I asked the starter how many people were behind us and he informed us of at least four groups teeing off behind us. The starter worked with us and had us start at hole ten and when we rotated to hole one my wife and I had the front nine to ourselves. We ate chicken sandwiches at their grill and they were great. The lady at the grill gave us free refills of coke on at least three occasions and she even told me to quit tipping her. The Marshal checked on the pace of play and offered us water on three or four occasions. When we finished the cart guy drive drove me to my car in our golf cart and dropped me off. My wife even remarked that we have play at Golf Courses at various vacation places but we never had the service that we did at Blackmoor. Absolutely the friendliest golf course that we ever played at. The price was great and the conditions were good (greens were fast). We will continue to play Blackmoor in the future!
