Once the home of the Kathy Ireland/Greens Competition Classic, Wachesaw East was named the 2007 Myrtle Beach Golf Course of the Year by the Myrtle Beach Golf Course Owners Association. It has also recently received honors for its fairways, customer service and playability by national publications. In short, Wachesaw East is the complete package. Utilizing five sets of distinct tees, the Clyde Johnston design plays anywhere from 6,933 yards down to 4,995. Regardless, the thought-provoking track was crafted to reward the patient, an approach that stick with players after wrapping up on the signature hole. The green of the par-4, 430-yard No. 18 bends slightly around a small pond, leaving most to consider it one of the course's most challenging holes.

Painted greens! Need I say anything more? The fairways were fine but the majority of the greens were gone completely and had been painted! Just plain awful and we were glad we had discount cards because even paying $37 was too much for the condition...More

We gave this course a try during our week of golf at Myrtle Beach. Given previous reviews and pricing, we didn't expect it to match the caliber of the other courses we enjoyed, including TPC, MSN and Long Bay. But this course was still fairly...More

Thank you for posting your feedback on our facility. In our location, we had some challenging weather over the winter that has caused a difficult transition for 8 of our greens. With the warm spring days we are currently experiencing, those greens are improving everyday....More

This was the worst course I have played in my 8 years of traveling to this area. The greens were not playable and the fairways needed mowing. I would never play this course again. Don T

Are clubs available for rent for a round of golf? We are staying there mid-June. Can you tell me what the green fees are or if there are specials during the week? Do you have senior discounts? Thanks
