An unexpected surprise! Just a short walk from Burrells Ford Campground. I can't tell you how many times I actually passed right by the trail without realizing what is there. You want be disappointed.

You hike for approximately a mile from the parking lot to get to the falls. It’s a lovely hike, moderately strenuous. At first the forest is silent. A little later you can hear the water but can’t see it. Finally, when you are almost at...More

Beautiful waterfall worth every step of the hike to it. Parking available at trail head RV should have no issues.

We were in the area and found the trail to the King. It's a 20 min. hike from Burrell's Ford campground. Great hike but after a recent snowfall, the last hundred yards to the falls were icy and quite the challenge. The view at the...More

This certainly is worth the hike. An easy hike by the way. We were present after a recent rain the falls were near strength. One of the best inside Sumter National Forest.

3rd time of going to this waterfall and it's just as beautiful as always. Trail was in better shape than previously except for huge tree that has fallen but easy to get over. They have cleared the log at the bottom that helped to make...More
