About
Part of the Memorial Waterfront Park complex, the 1250-foot long Mount Pleasant Pier stretches out into Charleston Harbor under the foot of the Arthur Ravenel, Jr. Bridge. Visitors can enjoy beautiful views of the bridge and harbor from the pier's bench swings and shade structures. Pier Features - Fishing - Gifts and souvenirs - Made-to-order sandwiches, ice cream, fruit smoothies, and more at the River Watch Cafe and Gift Shop - Special events - Swings, picnic tables, and rocking chairs - Tackle sales and rod rentals

Went here with my husband. We saw a few ships. It was just whatever. It was the only thing to do around.

We were staying at a hotel within walking distance to the park/pier. Spent every evening here chasing sunsets and taking pictures. This is a nice free activity to enjoy!

Cool place! Always love going out on piers seeing what people are catching! There's a nice little playground for the kids, my one complaint is, the cafe shop thing, has no coffee, so I don't think it should be called a cafe! Haha

This is a fun and popular spot to watch the sunset and meet lots of interesting people. The scenery and the ships going back are fascinating.

Great place to take a stroll or run or just sit and take in the beautiful scenery. Mount Plesant pier is more than just a pier. It is more like an attraction. Don't miss it.

I had a few minutes to spare prior to meeting a friend for lunch. The park was a nice place to spend a few minutes, and stretch my legs.

Great spot for drop by with the kids as there is a playground for the children. It is safe and for the adults, who can miss taking photos of the underside of the Ravenel Bridge.

We had a great time before Covid 19 hit. I am sure it is quieter these days.
