Captain Dan offers very personalized Charleston water tours. Our mission is to ensure our passengers have the best possible tour that encompasses historical sites, dolphin viewing, barrier island hopping and all the experiences that are at hand visiting Charleston from the water side! Captain Dan is a licensed US Coast Guard Captain with over 22 years experience on the area waterways. His love of the abundant fish, fowl and marsh habitats gives him first hand knowledge as to where to go for your complete viewing pleasure.

Absolutely perfect!
I had a hard time finding a Charleston area tour that was specifically tailored to Netflix Outerbank's filming locations. (My daughters wish for her birthday).
This tour was amazing. Captain Dan had pictures to relate the shows scene and where it was filmed...fun stories, great knowledge and history of the area.
We had such a wonderful time this was the highlight of our entire trip!

Had an amazing time on Dan’s boat! Seeing Charleston from the water was amazing. He showed us a little bit of everything from historic bay front Charleston, forts, the USS Yorktown, the bridge, the marshes and creeks, lovely water front homes, and even out to the beach. You can tell he loves doing this. The boat is in pristine condition. Great day!

Captain Dan's water tour was the highlight of our Charleston trip ! We had a group of 5 people including a 7 year old and were all very happy with our experience. Dan made sure to cater the trip to all our requests! We saw lots of wildlife including dolphins and manatees and were able to anchor the boat so we could jump in and swim. Captain Dan was a wealth of knowledge providing us with history and facts of the area. His boat was also less then a year old and had all the amenities you could ask for! Seeing Charleston through this intimate tour from the ocean view is an incredible experience and a must do when visiting Charleston. I know when we go back we will be booking this tour again!

The absolute BEST boat tour in the area! Very knowledgeable. Pointed out things we would’ve never found on our own! My daughters loved all his knowledge about “Outer Banks” filming locations. Definitely worth your time

Once again, Capt Dan provided a wonderful historical tour of the Charleston Harbor. We all felt that we learned a lot about the history of Charleston, and we experienced the beauty of Charleston’s maritime community in Dan’s comfortable, seaworthy boat. Dan himself is a charming person and wonderful, kind guide. We felt secure and safe with Dan on this tour. Highly recommended trip!! Great way to see the beauty of the Charleston maritime community and Charleston harbor!!!

We were trying to book a boat ride and Captain Dan was available. This was the "best birthday present ever" according to my daughter who we took the trip for. Captain Dan is super knowledgeable and provides a super clean vessel. We will definitely be back!

Captain Dan is fabulous! Captain Dan's boat is fabulouser! Dan was knowledgeable about the local area, waterways, and history of Charleston. His boat was clean and beautiful, we felt right at home. Thanks for a great evening, the sunset was stunning!

Highlight of my 19 day trip through the eastern seaboard. Great knowledge, wonderful clean boat and tailored to our interests. I would have paid twice it was such a value to our vacation. The birds, marshes & history. Fantastic!

We did a 2 hour private boat tour with Captain Dan. He took our family of 5 on an awesome tour of the marsh, intracoastal water way and harbor. We had requested this specific area and and he did everything we asked and more. Dan was very knowledgeable about the area. This boat tour was the highlight of our entire families trip to the Charleston area. Thanks Captain Dan!!

We had an absolutely wonderful cruise with Captain Dan yesterday. Took some friends from out of town and we all got a great tour of Charleston from the harbor perspective! He is extremely knowledgable and told us some fascinating facts about the importance of the Charleston harbor throughout history! The boat was beautiful, spotless and comfortable, and the ride was enjoyable and fun. Highly recommended!
