Great and informative tour. Legare' really knows his stuff having grown up in the area and the decendant of generations from the low country. We would highly recommend this tour and the Segways are a lot of fun too.

This was my first Segway tour and I enjoyed it even more than I thought I was going to. Our tour guide, Legare, is full of interesting knowledge about the history of the area and knows all of the interesting spots to visit. They take groups of no more than six people, which is great because it avoids overcrowding and... More

This was my 3rd Segway tour. I had so much fun after my other two tours I have decided that when on vacation, if there is a Segway tour available I will make it part of my vacation. During my first two tours(both one hour) the instructor covered a LOT of area. Both tours and used headsets to talk while... More

Our tour with Legare was GREAT!!! He provided training in an easily understood manner, and in a large area with plenty of room to practice. I have been to Charleston before, but stayed in the city and didn't venture outside of it. What a mistake, but this outstanding tour changed that! Legare was able to delve into the early history... We enjoyed the tour, but it was a little too much history for us. Although we enjoy a little history and information about areas we take segway tours, this one was a little too much.

Legare Porcher was our guide, and he did an fantastic job! His knowledge of the area, as well as family history made this tour into a unique, one of a kind experience. We ended up being the only ones on the tour, and it was a blast! We toured the Village of Mt Pleasant, and had such an enjoyable time,... More

We spent only 1 day in the Charleston area, and this was a great way to see a bit more of this beautiful area. Would go on this tour again in a heartbeat.

I have gone to a number of the supposed Charleston "must sees" and can say that this is the ONLY activity that I would recommend as a must for any tourist. The Segway safety/instructional portion was quick and easy to understand and we were riding like pros in no time. Leagre was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and an all around great... More

my daughter, wife and I have been segwaying at sites along the east coast for many years now and I must admit that each excursion never fails to miss the mark on enjoyment and a sharing of knowledge. Legare, our guide, led us on a history filled tour of Mt. Pleasant. this area is beautiful. from the incredible homes and... More
