We just returned from the Sewee Indian Ceremonial Shell Ring Historic Site and had an amazing time. Teresa was fantastic and full of knowledge. She was very thorough during the safety and instruction portion for my 3 daughters (all under 11). She spent lots of time explaining the different types of shells and ancient pottery to us. The company itself... More

Casual kayaking through the natural beauty of Wambaw Creek. Our guide, Ryan, was fantastic...straight away it felt like we'd known him for years. Would recommend this excursion for anyone looking to break away from the beach for a few hours. Saw a sampling of local wildlife, including a few gators, one up close and personal. My kids (17 & 20)... More

Matt was our guide today on our 2 hr kayak tour. I rented a tandem for my 15 yo daughter and I. Matt was super informative about the wildlife and history. Learned lots on the trip. Only bummer was not seeing the Dolphins as we had hoped. No fault of the tour of course. Highly recommend!

My girlfriend and I took this tour on a lark. Our guide was great...nice, informative, and provided great tutorials along the way around kayaking.

We've lived in the Charleston, SC area for 2 1/2 years and this was our first try at kayaking. We had a great time. It was peaceful and beautiful scenery. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We saw a few gators but it was a very hot day. Would highly recommend and can't wait to try out some of... More

We took the kayak tour of Wambaw Blackwater Creek in the Francis Marion National Forest with our two kids ages 10 and 13. It was a beautiful paddle up stream for an hour and 1/2 and then an even more relaxing paddle/ float downriver for another hour and 1/2. Our guide Jay was a good combination of interesting facts and... More

We took a kayak tour on Shem Creek on the last day of our vacation. The weather looked great all week, then 16 hours before our tour it looked like we were going to get rained out. Because we had an hour drive, the receptionist accommodated us by moving our morning tour later in the morning in case we needed... More

We went and did the Hampton Plantation Paddle in June. It was a nice hot day when we went and there was not much shade. I anticipated that there would be much more shade on the river. Overall all of the participants were nice. The kayaks we rented were ok. I actually prefer a shorter kayak but these are used... More

This was a perfect activity for our family. We went on the sunset kayaking tour. It was so much fun, peaceful, interesting and memorable! Tillman, our guide, could not have been any nicer and patient (as this was our first time to kayak)! Seeing the dolphins so close to our kayaks left us speechless!

Staff were great! Only drawback was the tour didn't happen because not enough people signed up and tour guide wasn't there. So, book early if you can. Saw lots of dolphin and pelicans near the shrimp boats. It was perfect timing. Location is great! Can walk through Shem Creek and lots of great restaurants/bars along the water where you can...
