Ths was an unexpected find and it was free. The staff in the visitor center were most helpful and the swet lady making sweet grass baskets was delightful! Great place for children and adults. Would be very pretty at night.

A beautiful waterfront park where you can relax pack a picnic and watch the ships along with the yachts go in and out of the harbor. The pavilion boasts of a Mother, Daughter basket weaver's that create stunning baskets, crosses and other items.

Mount Pleasant waterfront Park is a very large park and has many activities to do and see many are free and most that have a cost is minimal check out the web site .

Kathy, the park is wheel chair friendly. It is located underneath the Ravenel Bridge and there are no stairs to maneuver. A walking pier, and park along the Cooper River. There are hotels at Patriot's Point, next door and... More
