The grounds were impressive, the slave quarters and what we saw of the first floor of the home were interesting, but I have to say the high point was lunch served in Serena's Kitchen. Absolutely mouth-watering food washed down with sweet tea was a treat.

This is a rip-off! Don't visit!!Tour of house is 10 minutes long. Not even original house or furniture. Visit another plantation instead!

We paid $14.50 per person to take a tour of this plantation. In my opinion, it's not worth $5.00! The grounds were nice, and the slave cabins were interesting, but to find out that the house was only built in 1936 was a dissapointment. I...More

Yes, they have a little café. We only got drinks. Didn't seem like a full menu.

You can just show up and buy them there or you can purchase them ahead of time. I purchased mine at the Visitor's Centre prior to going there when I bought my city tour there.
