With over 50 miles of trails and proximity to Caesars Head, Jones Gaps has something for everyone. Easy trails to very difficult trails that hug the edge of steep drops with Ladders and ropes needed to navigate them you will not get bored here. Rainbow falls and other amazing views. Fish hatcheries and more. Come often.

We came to Jones Gap with our 11 year old and our 4 year old. While the trails were a bit advanced for the little guy, he handled it super well. This is a beautiful, well-maintained park. We'll definitely come back on our next trip!

I enjoyed this Park very clean. The hike to Rainbow Falls is challenging and know that there is no pool to get in when you get there. Not many places to park so get there early or be ready to go to Caesars Head.

We hiked to Rainbow Falls. This was fairly steep and rocky in places but round trip was about four miles so not strenuous. The falls are beautiful and the mountain laurel was in full bloom and was lovely. A plus is there is a nice bathroom at the start of the trails. Parking appeared to be limited.

Get there early because the parking lot does fill up, and you may have to wait in a line to enter. We hiked to Jones Gap Falls and Rainbow Falls. Rainbow Falls is one of the best waterfalls in SC. The hike to get there can get pretty strenuous. It's all uphill, but worth the pay-off! There are cool bridges... More

Come when the gates open or be prepared to wait for possibly hours until parking opens up. All trails are marked well with colored blazes on trees. Trials are muddy and wet in places due to all the waterfalls. The tranquility and silence is amazing in part because of limited parking and small crowds. Worth getting up early for Jones... More

This is a great park for day hiking or overnight camping. Most of the sites are on the river. They are all hike in. Make sure your food is in a bear safe container. The waterfalls are beautiful. I have 9 and 6 year olds. The rainbow falls hike was straight up, but my 6 year old daughter kept up.... More

This is a park where you have the options to choose between several hiking trails, from easy to harder ones. We spend a morning there, walked along the rainbow waterfalls trail.

I love coming here. Trails marked well. There are a variety of options to do differing loops, whether one wants a stroll to a waterfall, or whether one wants a 10-15 miles hike. Lots of streams and water features. Only downside is VERY limited parking. If you don't get here early, there is nowhere to park (not even right outside... More

The park is an easy 40 minute drive from Greenville SC off of Hwy 11 on the North Carolina border. The hike itself is easy to moderate with parts of it being fairly rocky. You can hike all the way to Raven Falls and back in 5 or 6 hours. Also if you are looking for a relaxing 3 hours... More
