We hiked the Rainbow Falls Trail, about 4 miles round trip. There were many other trails that we can't wait to hike in the future. Reviews indicated that the park got crowded quickly and parking became a problem. We came on a Friday in December and this was not an issue at all.

If you like in the middle of the woods this place is perfect. Good hiking next to water stream coming out of mountains. Have your food with you. You are surely out there in the thick woods. The drive getting there is gorgeous.

Not too far from downtown Greenville, you will find this gem of a state park in the Upstate region of South Carolina. I headed up there for a nice hike and I wasn't disappointed. I pulled in and the place wasn't that busy so I paid the $5 entrance fee and parked. From the day use area, you walk past... More

While the falls weren't as spectacular as some, SC has been experiencing a drought. The hiking is a bit tricky; not really level or easy for the inexperienced, but the creeks and woods are pretty, and it's a wonderful way to get some exercise. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone not in perfect health, but there is plenty to see... More

Beautiful place to visit. Cool waters to walk by and nice trails to follow after you cross the foot bridge.

With over 50 miles of trails and proximity to Caesars Head, Jones Gaps has something for everyone. Easy trails to very difficult trails that hug the edge of steep drops with Ladders and ropes needed to navigate them you will not get bored here. Rainbow falls and other amazing views. Fish hatcheries and more. Come often.

We came to Jones Gap with our 11 year old and our 4 year old. While the trails were a bit advanced for the little guy, he handled it super well. This is a beautiful, well-maintained park. We'll definitely come back on our next trip!

I enjoyed this Park very clean. The hike to Rainbow Falls is challenging and know that there is no pool to get in when you get there. Not many places to park so get there early or be ready to go to Caesars Head.

We hiked to Rainbow Falls. This was fairly steep and rocky in places but round trip was about four miles so not strenuous. The falls are beautiful and the mountain laurel was in full bloom and was lovely. A plus is there is a nice bathroom at the start of the trails. Parking appeared to be limited.

Get there early because the parking lot does fill up, and you may have to wait in a line to enter. We hiked to Jones Gap Falls and Rainbow Falls. Rainbow Falls is one of the best waterfalls in SC. The hike to get there can get pretty strenuous. It's all uphill, but worth the pay-off! There are cool bridges... More
