Our family had an amazing time sailing with Capt. Tom on the Bohemian Blue. It was a windy day and the water was choppy, but we all enjoyed ourselves. The breeze felt great especially since it was a hot day and it was exciting crashing over the waves. Capt. Tom played music and we enjoyed motoring out to the ocean as well as the big swells there. It was a wonderful experience. We would definitely do it again. I highly recommend this!!

Always a good time at Myrtle Beach Sailing School. We've sailed with Captains Jason and Tom.

We took ASA 101 with Cpt. Jason and it was a great experience. We came in with practically 0 experience and Jason was very patient and worked well in getting us the knowledge we needed to build our confidence.

We don't live near any sailable waters so we returned for a refresher with Capt. Tom he allowed us to work out the rust. He was great allowing us to work through the rust and offering several tips along the way. We have to travel several hours to reach MBSS and it's worth the trip every time.

There's nothing like feeling of catching the wind and feeling the boat surge forward underneath you when you get everything just right. It's a thrill every time!

The crew, Jason and Tom provided us a great sailing experience while we visited Myrtle Beach. They ensured that we had plenty of time under sail and saw a few school of dolphins. A true highlight of our 4 day visit!

We had a good time. Captain Tom was nice. Would have liked it if he'd used a little more sail to give us more of a sailing experience. What we got was a very sedate, gentle boat ride. Another downside was that it takes nearly an hour to motor to the ocean to begin sailing, and the same distance/time to motor back to the dock after sailing.

We were in town for a week of softball for our daughter with two reluctant teenage boys. I enticed them with a sail when they showed some interest. So glad we did! Not only was my son’s interest in sailing confirmed we had a fun afternoon with Captain John. He taught the boys sailing basics and I learned a lot about the history and culture of the area. He had the perfect personality to tease my sons out of their shells. Highly recommend this company!

Myrtle Beach Sailing School and Jason are a great way to get involved in sailing. Jason's knowledge and experience make for a fun and informative class and I feel confident after completing ASA 101, 103, and 104 with Jason that I have had excellent instruction and will be sailing for as long as I am able. Highly recommended.

Negatives- we did not receive our champagne toast or flowers.
Positives- Jason makes the experience fun. He is outgoing and funny, and made my fiancé and me feel at ease right away. I would recommend anyone interested in sailing with him to do so. Great guy, and made a wonderful memory sailing with him.

I completely lucked into this one. I completed ASA 101, 103 and 104 and thoroughly enjoyed the process. Highlights: Jason, the instructor; personalized attention, training on the ocean (would you feel comfortable training on a lake and then sailing in the ocean?), reliable winds, temperate climate (I trained in December). Do you really want to compete with someone for your training?

It was our first trip to myrtle beach and we were looking for something special to do. We chartered a private sailboat tour with captain Jason. It was the most peaceful experience. You travel trough the inlet out to the Atlantic Ocean. Unfortunately for us tropical storm Ana had just passed through 1 day prior so when we got to the Atlantic there was really dense fog. Our captain Jason didn't want to risk it as you couldn't see anything. That was ok though he didn't skimp on our trip. We found an area to sail and it was awesome. I would highly recommend this business if you need a day to relax and unwind. We should of listened to Jason about using sunscreen! He had a lot of bottle water and pop. A lot of great munchies. You can take adult beverages and a lunch if you want to. Much success to you Jason!

I guess this is the first review for this business. After all the commercialism that Myrtle Beach has, it is a pleasure to see, in a different perspective, the beauty of the the ocean by way of a sailing charter. Out of all the boating experiences I like sailing the best where once the wind catches the sail, you quietly float on the water letting the breeze take you. Very relaxing despite a busy Memorial Day weekend where many watercraft were going in all directions. Jason, our captain, was great as he allowed us once in calmer waters to take the helm of the boat. Moreover, I appreciated his mindful eye on safety at all times while on the boat. The price for this charter was reasonable and not far from our vacation unit. It was well worth the cost.
