Good place to take a walk or even have a picnic. The boardwalk is nice. There were a few birds and fish you could see swimming the walk itself around it is very simple. Lots of people out taking their dogs for a walk.

Recommended at the Welcome centre across the street . Well kept walking trails. Walked to the various boardwalks. Meet Mrs. Hartwell who was clearing the bench in memory of her husband. A lovely lady . Didn’t see much in the way of birds but nonetheless a very area walk .

Peaceful and pretty. Enjoyed walking the trails through the marsh forest. The boardwalks over the marsh are in very good shape. Watched several boats on the Intercoastal waterway. Wished we had brought lunch with us. There were several picnic tables with a view of the waterway. Great place for family time as well

This is an excellent place for taking a leisurely walk! We absolutely loved it and thought it was beautiful! The trails go through the woods, over marshes, and next to the water. The highlight of our walk was the “wishing trees.” Here, you can hang a mollusk shell on a tree and make a wish. You will find tons of these shells on the ground by the water. Some people had painted their shell or written their name/date on them. If you have kids, be sure to pick up a scavenger hunt brochure at the beginning of the blue trail. We highly recommend visiting and we would definitely go back!
