Tucked way away, making the journey to get to this covered bridge is very much worth it. You can only walk across it, no driving across like you can some bridges up in New England. But still, it's a remarkable little covered bridge and the oldest one still existing in South Carolina. Definitely take the time to see this piece... More

This bridge wasn't hard to find. There is nothing around food/gas wise but it's a lovely little spot for photos to take a family for a picnic!

We stopped here with a wedding couple! Great spot to snap some newlywed pics. The well and covered bridge were unique and fun.

Very beautiful setting for photos. In fact three other photographers had our same idea. We saw families with small children, senior portraits and large families getting their family photos. We sure picked a popular out of the way spot. The leaves weren't quite at their peak yet. I bet in a couple of weeks it will be fantastic.

Campbell's Covered Bridge is very close and easy to find. Once you get there it is well maintained and beautifully kept. The Red Horse Inn offers a 'covered bridges and waterfalls' tour that takes you right to it.

Quiet little park featuring an historic bridge. Great place for a quiet walk or picnic. Only downside is no restroom facilities.

I love this place. You can feel the history just by walking across the bridge. It's a great place to spend a peaceful afternoon, it's a great background for a photo session or just to get to know a little history.

This bridge is actually named after a distant relative of my husband's family. We recently visited to take family pictures for mother's day. It is a small, beautiful, and secluded park. The bridge is the main attraction, but there are also picnic tables, a few short trails, and some good places for wading. The river isn't really deep enough there... More

We visited here for the first time in many, many years. The bridge has been restored in recent years and a park has been built around it. Great place to come for a quiet picnic or stroll around the bridge. One reviewer noted that there are no rest room facilities - this is correct.
