PGA Course on the Ocean!

What's not to love! Challenging links-like course, beautiful scenery. Expect to loose a lot of balls...

The only true course worth playing at Kiawah Island - The Ocean Course, well away form all houses, tress, no buggies, true golf feeling next to Atlantic with water, waste bunkers, snakes and alligators, course in great condition all round. You can taste the atmosphere and history walking the fairways.Caddy comes one between two, bit odd but essential, some confusion... More

All the hype and all the stories.. .but behind these lie a beautiful, excruciatingly difficult golf course along the Atlantic coast. As an example, I started off well, 1 over par after 4 holes.. then the course bit down hard on me from hole 5 on. For one, I wasn't used to playing on a hardpan, sandy lie.. definitely not... More

What a course! It Must be on your bucket list. Play in the morning with a caddie. Try to get Willie Strickland! Bring your camera and have fun; enjoy the experience and don't worry about your score as the wind will dominate! Be sure and end with a drink at the Ryder Cup bar!

So much to say: First and foremost - our caddy bragged about what a great golfer he is, and our nice, but naïve English partners offered to have him hit a drive. He did. He also let go of the driver and it helicoptered into a nearby pond where it came to rest about 8 feet from an 8 foot... More

Had a blast! Great course condition, views of the ocean beside you, and very knowledgeable caddies! What more can a golfer ask for? This is near the top of the bucket list courses to play!

This famous course has hosted major championships and the Ryder Cup. It was in excellent condition, the caddies were super and the challenge of the course was what we expected. Listen to the starter and caddies and play the correct tee boxes as the course is very difficult.

My husband and I recently splurged and played the Ocean Course. They were nice enough to allow him the use of a cart in the morning (carts are not allowed until the afternoon) due to his disability. However you must still have a walking caddie. At the end of our round the caddie told us there was a $70 fee... More

We were lucky to play on a day without wind, and it was one of the more memorable courses I have ever played. I have played a number of courses in the US and the Caribbean, and this one stands out. The fairways and greens were in really good shape, and the dramatic scenery is incredible. I can't wait to... More

If you are a golfer you know this is a must play bucket list course. My advice is to walk the course. If you rent a cart you are not allowed to leave the cart path anyways and why would you want to speed up the round? Walking proved to be the best way to immerse yourself in the moment,... More
