Expensive round of golf but few other like it. A course which partially runs parallel to the beach and ocean with killer views. A course with no sand bunkers (just horrendous waste like bunkers) and no out of bounds. Just tall grass boarding each fairway. Must take a fore caddy. Ours (Kyle) was outstanding. Knew where every ball of our... More

Everyone should experience golfing on this superior course! BUT do not go looking for balls in water or high grass! There is nature lurking in the water and grass.

The course is hard- no getting around that. Holes 1-4 play with a slight helping wind, then 5 thru 14 play mostly into the prevailing wind, and that set up wears you down. But it's a gorgeous piece of property that's well kept and is an experience to play. Make sure you take a look back at the PGA tee... More

Was playing this course on a windy day that made it a challenge. Fantastic layout and a really good conditions. HCP 3 made it difficult from the gold tees. For higher HCP i do not recommend the back tee and you will find plenty of obstacles. Some are very large so don't go close water and don't put your hand... More

Well worth the hype and money to play a round at this course. Caddies were awesome (we had Willie and Kevan). Beautiful views...especially on the back 9. It was definitely a difficult course, but I was surprised how much fairway there was on most of the holes. Service from the bag drop to the pro shop and the caddies after... More

Played here late April 2016. The course was in the best condition I've ever seen. The weather was sunny with only a mild wind. Caddie was Jon and he was excellent. I stayed at the Residence Andell Inn at the entrance to Kiawah and it was great. Visited Fort Sumter the day before, so it was a two fun days.

Pete Dye sure does design some phenomenal golf courses, and this is one of them. The elevated greens reminded me of Blackwolf Run, and the waste areas reminded me of Bandon Dunes. Great views of the ocean on almost every hole. Course was in perfect condition last week. The back nine got particularly tough when my drives started going astray... More

What's not to love! Challenging links-like course, beautiful scenery. Expect to loose a lot of balls...
