As the other reviews have said, this is a beautiful beach. Kiawah Island is not easy to get to, and most of the island is private, but before the first gate is the road that takes you to this public beach. Parking is $8, but there are plenty of spaces. There also are rest rooms and a small concession stand.... More

We came here when we arrived hours before check in. Beautiful beach and we liked the lush walkover. Price is worth it.

Parking could be limited so get there early and they open at 10. Boardwalk to beach is great, however showers coming from the beach are limited. Walking south on the beach it seems like you could walk forever. Almost the perfect get away.

Amazing quaint beach. White sand, quiet people, nice ocean breeze. What more can anyone ask for. Mainly private island, but this open to public section is worth the trip. There is a nominal parking fee. Optional chair rental with parasol available. Bike allowed. Dogs allowed and fishing (by permit) allowed. Simply sun, swim and enjoy.

We traveled just a half hour to this beach with our family on Saturday, so glad we did. The beach was clean, lifeguard areas and dog friendly,as long as they're on a leash. There is a charge of $10 on the weekends but worth it. There is a boardwalk to get you down to the beach area. There are also... More

Beachwalker County Park is a beautiful beach that also has restroom facilities available as well as a shower area. Dogs are permitted on the beach all year as long as they are leashed. Beach is easy to walk on but very few sea shells can be found, maybe an occasional sanddollars. Have heard that dolphins strand themselves near inlet on... More

Visited here several times and does not disappoint. Daily fee is $8 per car but definitely worth buying a Gold Pass if you plan to visit more often as you can then enter free. Parking lot fills up quickly on weekends so plan to get there early. Beautiful beach easy to walk along but not many sea shells, maybe lucky... More

This is a really good park! Dogs are aloud in the park as long as it has a leash, it is fun for little kids to play to.

Beautiful, pristine beach! We were never able to locate the river access to watch for dolphins feeding (maybe because it was high tide). It was quiet and beautiful! Beware that besides the Freshfield Market and Bohicket Marina area this is the only public place you will find on Kiawah and Seabrook.
