Great beach and very clean. Can walk the beach for quite sometime - it seems endless. This was the best beach visited in the Charleston/Kiawah area.

Each of the beaches in the Charleston area have their own characteristics. Kiawah is definitely the nicest of them all. Pleasure to walk on, smooth, fine, packed sand. Walk down to where the Kiawah River meets the ocean, nice sights and sandbars. After November 1...More

Beachwalker Park's beach and amenities (bathrooms! Water! dressing rooms!) are a dream. In comparison to one of the beach entries on Kiawah in the resort, Beachwalker was a blessing. We rode our bikes there, which eliminated the parking fee. There's no reason to grouse about...More

We traveled about an hour from our home in Summerville to visit the Beachwalker County Park. A lovely drive through John's Island, with uncrowded roads early on a Sunday morning in mid-September. Since the park does not open until 10 am, we ventured in to...More

We love this beach, especially for small children. Changing areas, vending machines, picnic tables and an uncrowded beach. We have been here before and returned for these very reasons!

Loved this beach on Kiawah Island!! So clean, peaceful and not crowded. Compared to Sullivan's Island, Kiawah is so much more secluded and nice. The sand is soft, water is pretty clear and you don't feel like tourists have taken over! $10 for parking and...More

This beach went on for miles! You can rent chairs and umbrella, but we brought our own from Costco, wasn't a problem. You can ride bikes in the beach and take your dogs on a leash. The water was very clear and clean!

We were so happy to find a huge expanse of beach with not a house to be seen along the water - just miles of undisturbed beachfront, native grasses and a crazy high and low tides. If you enjoy the beach for its serenity and...More

Actually, the walk from parking lot to beach is a bit long. It's on a boardwalk that leads directly from lot to beachfront. If you are looking for a beach that has direct parking by the beach this is probably not the best... More

Shells are probably better found In the mornings before large crowds walk the beach. I was there late February during a warm weekend.
