We walked from our villa to play on the playground. Well maintained park with lots of sitting places for adults. We went into the nature interpretative center and loved the exhibits with small alligators, furry and animal hides and skulls. Very nice. My son's only complaint was that the graphic legend on our villas path to the park showed a... More

This is another part of the well-maintained Island, and it's just steps away from the beach. You can relax and stroll the area or make your way to the pristine beach to watch the sunset. A peaceful place for a diversion.

This is a nice quiet place to wander around. They do have a nice playground area for kids and a Frisbee golf course and it's adjacent to the nice pool area (which has very restrictive access). In the summer season, I guess it's a hub of action, but in the fall it's quiet and peaceful.

This park has a lot of potential, but the lack of care given to the facilities is visible throughout. Like much of Kiawah's recreational areas, there are no personnel much of the time anywhere to be seen, particularly at the pool, rendering it a very dangerous place from both the perspective of potential accidents and any criminals that might wander... We really enjoyed the pool here. We have an 18 month old and he had a blast playing in the very large kiddie pool. This is definitely where you want to bring the little ones. My only complaint is that big kids were playing there too, and they were way too big to play on those things and were taking... More

Lots to do at the Night heron pool complex. Water slides for the kids and the adults too. Food from the grill is good. Try the nachos. Have fun and visit the science center too.

My husband and I rented bikes for the day from the Night Heron Park. The staff was very helpful....the bikes in great condition....and the Park was clean and easily accessible.

Can reviewers please make it clear that the pool at Night Heron Park is NOT open to the public. We've just ridden 5 miles here in 100 degree heat only to be met by very unsympathetic, snobby staff who would not make an exception for our exhausted kids.

Went to Heron Night Park to enjoy the pool. We rode our bikes there so were hot and tired when we got there. But its membership only. Our kids were devastated. Why did none of the reviews on Tripadvisor mention this? So disappointed.
