Nice area of shops and restaurants. There are several clothing shops and upscale souvenir type places as well as a Harris Teeter grocery store. There are also several restaurants - wine bar, Italian, upscale sports bar, soda fountain and coffee shop. The wine bar has nice light fare and 48 wines and beers by the glass. They also have a... Freshfields is a nice, clean shopping area between Kiawah and Seabook Islands. The grocery store has everything you need. Nice wine/beer selection, fresh meat and seafood and all other groceries that you might need on vacation. Prices are very reasonable as well. There are a few nice restaurants and shops as well. Just enough services for a small shopping area.

My extended family and I shopped Freshfields Village on Black Friday. There were a variety of shops; everyone was friendly. We enjoyed the available outside seating for resting. As we found with all of Kiawah Idland, things were a bit pricey.

In planning Thanksgiving away from home and with relatives also from out of town, we ordered dinner from Harris Teeter. From the initial phone order, to the follow up confirmation call, to the pick up, everything was outstanding. We picked up our order, Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberries, green beans, carrot souffle, bread and pie...all tasted homemade. It was... More

If you are visiting Seabrook Island, South Carolina- which I highly recommend, you will walk around and purchase some items and even dine at Freshfields. It is charming and enjoyable. Come and visit!

A few good shops. One shop sells fabulous shoes(sorry, I can't recall the name and yet I never miss going in as they are so helpful and have a great selection of shoes such as arche). Disappointing though is the lack of boutiques.

Its very nice clean place. The stores are very hit and miss. They may have what you are looking for - they may not. It just depends I guess. The grocery store is a good one and clean. In a pinch if you need something and don't want to drive back to town its a good place to start.

Pricey, I didn't see any options for ladies of the curvy persuasion. However, there are some very charming shops to visit. I loved Indigo Books, and I'm very impressed that there is medical care, a pharmacy, and dentistry available, not to mention a day spa!

We were at Kiawah for 1 week and went to Freshfields 4 times. I like a town square, clean and quite. Only found to stores with sell items because they were going to move to Charleston. The grocery store was well stocked and prices were good. Deli looked good and the fresh produce was very good.
