If you like new, upscale and modern type shopping in a island resort this is for you. Visited after visiting Kiawah Beach, nothing special just upscale restos and shops.

Really cute shopping area. Great combination of local and chain stores. Staff were so friendly at each store. My only complaint is the stores close super early.

Shops open at 1000 AM and eateries open at 0700 AM. A great mixed variety of shops from home decorating to sports. Open air concept creates an inviting stroll for those who need a break from the beach/golf activities.

This area has really developed into a great place to walk around and window shop or eat. The Harris Tweeter market has a Starbucks inside if that's your thing. Also this grocery store has everything thing you need if you are renting on Kiawah or Seabrook. The old time drug store Vincent's had great ice cream!! The soup store "Ladles"... More

On our trip we ventured into Freshfields-amazing! They have a Harris Teeter (Fresh Market) with gorgeous flower arrangements, a Starbucks, fresh meats, veggies, and the most flavors of ice cream I've ever seen in one store-plus Charleston specialty items like tshirts, Tervis cups/mugs, hats, etc. Freshfields has a hotel, vacation home rental office, doctor, urgent care, ice cream shop, clothing... We were here over a holiday weekend, there were live music bands and outside vendors. We had an amazing evening with a bottle of wine on the lawn. Nice for couples or families.

Small shop serving fresh homemade soups, sandwiches, and salads. Soup are fantastic, had the Low country gumbo. So good had to try another. Wife had two different soups too. A go to place for great soups. Had 2 specials and 10 others on the board.

This is the nearest convenient shopping area for local visitors and residents of Kiawah Island. Here you'll find your favorite bars and restaurants, bike and kayak rentals, souvenir shops, nail salon, gas station and unique craft stores. It sits right outside the main gate into Kiawah Island but offers free parking with easy access to John's Island another local hot... More
