5 stars all around. This charter should be listed as number 1. Everything was taken care of from drinks to dinner as we celebrated my mother’s 65th birthday. The captain and crew were incredibly accommodating and made us feel as if we had known them for years. We sailed through the inter coastal area for 2 hours watching the sunset as dolphins breached the surface. Truly an incredible experience by an incredible, passionate and accommodating team. Thanks again Osprey!

Trust me: the only thing you need to do in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. is take a cruise on the Osprey.
Let me get the whole local credentials thing out out of the way: I was born and raised in Mt. Pleasant, SC. My parents, three olders siblings and their spouses and children all reside in Mt. Pleasant (more or less). However, I haven't lived in Mt. Pleasant since 1996. On Sept 12, 2013 two days before my wedding, my family plus about 25 of my now wife's people, all from Minnesota and North Dakota, took a cruise on the Osprey. Needless to say this perfect/excellent/fun/easy cruise set the tone for what turned out to be a greatest wedding weekend in the history of weddings (admittedly, I'm not very objective). Everyone loved the entire vibe: the boat, the excellent/southern hospitality to-full-effect crew, the music and of course the Frogmore stew. They don't eat that stuff a lot in the mid-west. It was dumped in a large serving platter and everyone had at it - with cold beer provided by the Osprey. And of course the cruise up the Wando, down the Cooper, around the Battery, over to Fort Sumter and back to Shem Creek was a unique way to see the incomparable lowcountry. As for the local Crouch-Dodds clan who live around the beauty of Mt. Pleasant and the Charleston harbor on a daily basis it was almost as if it was a brand new experience for us as well. We enjoyed it as much as the MN, NoDak folks. And as for me I dispute what the great southern author Thomas Wolfe said, you can go home again especially if its on the Osprey.

Surprised my girlfriend with a sunset cruise on The Osprey. The owners were perfect help with scheduling as well as catering. The food prepared was excellent, drinks flowed freely, and were more than enough for the 35 people aboard. The staff on the boat were as laid back as possible, but attentive to every need of every person aboard. The amenity choices are unlimited, and as said before the food was excellent. We shoved off as soon as we boarded, and saw every part of the Downtown Charleston and Mount Pleasant area from the water. Sunset was amazing. Highly recommend this option for entertaining. The possibilities are endless as far as what you might be looking for. Don't hesitate if you have any ideas for your next party or gathering.

Great outing on the Osprey with 9 guys enjoying half a day of skeet shooting and a terrific low country boil for lunch. Great instruction and lots of fun.

Everything was picture perfect! We could not have ordered better weather; the skies were clear, the sun shining bright with just a slight breeze .. picture perfect! Captain Donnie and staff were the perfect hosts. Our trip was a customer appreciation event and this boat trip really showed them how much we appreciate them. From the time we stepped onto the boat until the last person departed, the experience was awesome. The views, the music and the food were top notch. They say time flies when you're having fun, well the three hours just flew by, we were no where near ready to stop. This was our second time and it was awesome. I recommend an Osprey tour of the Charleston bay to everyone visiting the area.

I took a group of 22 guys out the day before wedding. Spoke with the osprey and after talking with them about what we were hoping to do they gave us a few suggestions, and with their help decided on an epic concept. Went out for three hours with them...the majority of the time spent shooting clay pigeons from the bow of the boat. Yes...you read that correctly. Had 22 people plus crew and it was not crowded in the least. While clay targets were turning to dust up front...the crew was preparing a low country boil in the back. Food was great, blasting off the boat was fun as hell, beer for guys once the guns went away, and pictures to prove it actually happened. The crew was way professional, and offered us more time on the water if we wanted to stay out. Even though we could not stay out due to schedule it was nice that they weren't watching the clock waiting to get rid of us.
Shooting trap may not be for everyone, but the point is that it was for us and they made it happen. Will not be last time I'm on osprey...next time we may rent it to party on in the evening....but it'll be hard not to bring the shotguns. Epic.

Great experience thanks to our guides, Donny and Lizzie (and Mako, the dog). We had great weather, too. Found Osprey online on a whim, and glad we did!

These guys are awesome. Friendly and knowledgeable, they'll provide you with a Lowcountry evening to remember. From the moment we stepped on board, they were professional and personal, setting the tone for a great night. The caption even positioned the boat for perfect moonrise photos! Incredible night!!!!!

I would like to know how many people can be on board at a time. If I can reserve it for a General William Moultrie reunion in 2019, not sure of exact month or date but wanting to know if you do private events.
I also would like to know if it is a dinner cruise, a cocktail cruise and the length of the tour.
My sister, Cindy Kirchner Seyle had been on this and highly recommends this as an option for our reunion.
Thank you for information!
Looking forward to this as an option.
PS- what happens if it is raining?
Thanks!

We can carry up to 49 passengers. The length of the trip is up to you as long as we make the three hour minimum. Food and beverages are custom to your trip. We offer full service catering and can have beer/wine service available.
Well over half of the boat is covered in the case of light rain, although lightning will cancel a trip at the captains discretion.
Please visit our web page for any other info or give us a call.

Do they have excursions where individuals can join another group? How far ahead do you have to book? What is the cost?
