My wife and I were in Charleston for 6 nights and this was our 2nd course to play (Dunes West was our first). It is about 40 minutes drive West of Charleston Downtown, where we were staying, and a pleasant journey. Arrival was friendly and we checked in easy with the pro Shop

Played april18th with 3 friends. Very excited to play here for first time as I heard it was a nice course. First of all average course at best for money. Would not know you were anywhere near waterway except for a few holes on back nine. Construction all over the front

I am truly sorry to read of your poor experience here at Stono Ferry. We pride ourselves on providing top-notch customer service to our Members and Guests at all times. Any time we fall anywhere short of that mark, we have failed. We are very excited about what will prove to be a beautiful new housing development between Holes 1, 2, 3, and 9. Unfortunately, that does require heavy construction and it can be unpleasant on the eyes. However, I am disappointed to hear about the negative interaction with our staff member. I have already met with the entire staff in regards to the statements in your review, and I can guarantee that your experience will help up learn and grow as a business and succeed in the future. I commend our Ambassadors for performing their job of enforcing pace of play, but it most certainly should be done with courtesy and respect. Please give me a call to further discuss your Stono Ferry experience. I hope you and your friends will choose to tee it up with us again under better circumstances. All the best, Scott Glaze Head Golf Professional 843.763.1817 ext. 3

When you come to the Low Country to play golf it is hard to beat the courses at Kiawah Island but man it is pricy. This semi private club sits on the inter coastal waterway just 30 short minutes away in Hollywood SC. Historical markers on the back nine from both Civil and
