Overview
More
Shipyard Golf Club offers three nine hole courses, which can be played in three eighteen hole combinations. Each course has its own merits and difficulties, with 25 water hazards coming into play throughout the majority of the holes.Clipper Course: With plenty of sand and water hazards, the Clipper course may be the most difficult of the nines. This George W. Cobb design requires a good long game and a soft touch around the greens.Galleon Course: These original nine holes of Shipyard Golf Club meander through large oaks and tall pines. Accurate placement of approach shots into heavily guarded greens is necessary on the Galleon course.Brigantine Course:Alligators sun themselves along these scenic, water hazard filled nine holes of the Brigantine course. With slight dog-legs and well-placed bunkers, this course requires shot-making and a good short game.

Shipyard has three nine hole courses which have been in great shape every time we have played here. Very scenic with ponds that the local alligators call home. Pro shop, starters and rangers all are friendly, and make everyone feel welcome. If you didn't bring...More

We traveled with our 2 boys (11/8) and were pleasantly surprised by the family golf package. 4 golfers 2 carts 9 holes $90 -on the island an unheard of bargain. The tee boxes for juniors were set up at the 150 marker and the staff...More

I played this course in the heat of July (over 100 degree index) so was the hottest round of golf I've played in a long time. That being said the fairways and greens were in very good shape. The course played well but there are...More

Just played 18 holes at Shipyard Golf Club. The course is in very nice condition. The greens are a bit slow, but very true. The rangers are friendly and even bring you ice water and discount coupons to their new restaurant, The Brickyard Pub. Shipyard...More

This is second time playing Shipyard. Was on the Clipper/Brigantine route. Greens and fairways are average for the island. It's resort golf , do nothing special. It is a good course for a warm up round at a reasonable cost. If u want a memorable...More

Very disappointing round at Shipyard! Greens recently aerated and heavily sanded (which at least they warned of) but fairways in poor condition with lots of sand too. Workers did not stop or get out of way as our foursome "played thru" them, routinely riding equipment...More

My husband has been golfing at this course for 6-7 years now. He is a scratch golfer and goes golfing with my parents and other family members. There are 3 good sets of nines to play with good layouts and well kept greens. He says...More

We GolfNow'ed the shipyard and got a steal on the tee time/price! This time of year was beautiful to hit the links and keep our distance from the gators! There were a few holes with a few rough spots around and/or on the greens but...More
