Nice area of HH where you can shop, eat, stroll, and visit the beach. The shops are not as high end as Harbor Town at the Light House in Sea Pines, but the parking is free and a beautiful beech is just steps away. Also,...More

As with all of Hilton Head venues, this is a fabulous place to visit. The beach is beautiful. The choice of restaurants is wide and the shopping plentiful. Moreover, the atmosphere on Coligney is super. Plenty of tourist enjoying the evening.

Always was under the impression that this area was exclusive. It is not. The locals are terrible and we get it they are sick of tourist BUT guess what? Nuff said. Go somewhere else. Nickel and dime you to death.

Clean beach and not over crowded. Close to shops and restaurants. Family beach for all ages. Beat beach.

It's unlike the resorts. It's a public beach area, with restrooms, a splash fountain area, shops, a grocery store, and restaurants. Looks more like a "beach town" than does most of Hilton Head. I don't recommend being there in the highest heat of the day,...More

When you are at Coligny Beach, you see nothing but sand and ocean for miles and miles. You see nothing but familiesenjoying themselves. At low tide the sand is packed down and the bicyclers come out. If you only visit for the day there is...More

Variety of stores and restaurants to walk around near Coligny Beach. Plenty of parking of lots of stores to select from.

Now that the southern schools are back in session, the beach is much less crowded. It's the same beautiful place with great beach experiences, shops, restaurants and free parking; just not the crowd.

The place we were staying was on the beach so we walked right out onto this wide clean beautiful beach. There were plenty of lifeguards and chairs with umbrellas for rent. Trash and recycle container were conveniently located and beach goers obviously used them! There...More

We took advantage of the free parking on our last free day and went to this beach and rented an umbrella and chairs. This cost $38 plus requested tip. It was louder than the other beaches and far more crowded.

Is 35 for one day but if you get more than one day price goes down. We rented 2 days 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas for $120. Was worth every penny.
