Daufuskie Island Guided History Tour from Hilton Head with Ferry Transportation

113 reviews
Remote Daufuskie Island is accessible only by boat and remains largely undeveloped, despite its fame as the setting of Pat Conroy’s novel “The Water is Wide.” A guided tour makes the trip a cinch—this package includes round-trip ferry tickets, plus transportation between island attractions such as the First African Baptist Church and Mary Fields School, all visited with the benefit of commentary from your guide.
$95.00 per adult

If there was such a thing as first class in the theater business this place would be it. Large, comfortable, sofa style recliners. Beer, wine, great food. No COVID concerns at all. Clean, distanced, masked, they are doing it all and all felt very safe. We saw the new (not new) Woody Allen movie “A Rainy Day in New York” and we laughed out loud. Great memories of my teenage days spent running around the city. Very funny, and man it felt good to laugh. Go to the theater! The Mann’s are great people who work hard to provide an outstanding experience for all.

This was literally the most enjoyable movie experience that I've ever had. We were warmly greeted by the owners and their puppy, and proceeded to watch a movie in a comfortable, reclining chair. The rows are placed far enough apart to allow walking past even a fully extended chair. This is important because the staff will bring food and drink to your chair in the theater. The food and drinks are reasonably priced. The bathrooms are spotless. Every detail is managed with love and care. Quality and pride still exist in the theater industry.

We celebrated our daughter's 12th Birthday with a movie party at this location this past weekend and we had the best time!!! Lucie was very helpful in getting everything booked and set up. When we arrived, Doreen was extremely helpful. She got everybody's food and drinks order (for a bunch of 12 year old kids). The movie theater was excellent, the site was clean, all safety protocols were followed, and everybody had a wonderful time. Highly recommend this place for any party or gatherings, kids or adults!!!
