The food was delicious, my husband said his hamburger was huge. The theater seats were very comfortable, and were recliners! We ordered our food and they delivered it to our seats. What a great place! The reclining chairs in the theater were soooo comfortable! Besides normal movie treats, they have beer and wine. Yay! Really a wonderful family owned place run by friendly people.Yay! We are so happy you chose us and came to visit! Glad to hear you enjoyed yourselves! We were in HH visiting for Thanksgiving and my girls loved this theater so much we went three times. I wish more theaters were like this. Keep up the great work! Operation is at far end of strip mall extending from Harris Teeter supermarket. Parking can be tight but was ok for our visit. Theater is small. Plenty of concessions (traditional theater candy and beverages, plus a small bar and snack menu (prepared food is brought to you in the theaters. Three theaters, each very small. Ours only seated 44 people, all in pairs of recliners. Recliners squeaked and vibrated as movie viewers adjusted them - as if viewers were farting at times. A bit more upscale than much larger theaters. Reasonably priced and well-run. Will return if the opportunity arises.We are so pleased that you enjoyed your experience here at Park Plaza Cinema! Hopefully an opportunity does arise for a return visit because we have an additional 2 theaters in the back and our menu is ever changing with fresh daily specials out of our kitchen 😊😊😊 Your review is appreciated, as was your visit, and we cannot wait to see you again! The owner is the nicest man and all the food there is awesome. A must see cinema when in HH. Don’t even bother with another cinema. Manager came out to tell me I couldn’t lock my bike to his two EMPTY bike racks at 7pm because I wanted to just walk around. I am a local and have visited his theatre before. I am also in charge of Seniors I have driven to his theatre several times. My bike was the ONLY bike in two racks but because I didn’t come to watch a movie that night, he felt he needed to be a jerk. No one else parked their bikes there at that time because it was getting dark soon and not the time to ride your bike to the movies (I have lights on my bike). Will never go back to his theatre.

Wonderful Friday night at the movies celebrating a friend’s birthday. Cozy and roomy reclining seats. Built-in trays for food and drink. Warm pretzels are soft and chewy. Lucie, our warm and endearing proprietress, explained she uses a a special Bavarian wheat which retains moisture. The sandwiches high quality too. Beautiful, thoughtfully laid out lobby with seating areas and nice ambient light. Will be back soon!

Small & over priced! I hate coming to this theater and supporting this business. First time we came my daughter spilled some popcorn when she sat down. Pretty typical at a movie theater. But when the owner lady brought the hot food to our seats (as the movie was starting) she gasped that there was ‘such a mess’ while shaking her head then proceeded to grab a broom and dustpan and began cleaning up the mess. She was blocking my small childrens view of the movie & couldn’t care less about customer service. Even when I politely asked her to stop, she ignored me and finished her task. Came back the second time and the overpriced ‘loaded chicken nachos’ on the menu only come with chicken and cheese. Every other topping is about $2 each, not loaded unless you pay twice as much, AND they didn’t even add the two toppings I paid extra for!! This place is the worst! But tourists like it bc the location is prime so they’ll continue to gauge every customer with a smile on their face. Sure hope they pay their employees well!

I am s local and this place is horrible!!! The 7 dollar truffle fries that I waited an hour for came out cold and looked nothing like what was pictured on the Web and they were horrible I took them right back and they refused to refund me. I work in food and beverage and that is really messed up that you can't afford to refund customers for bad food.. if you do go here don't order any prepared food because it is nothing more than microwave crap that is 3x the price that it might be worth if it was good..This place is really bad like i said lm a local and I'm telling you go to Northridhe over this rip off place

Cool concept. Nice facility. Awful service. Poorly ran. Made reservations for 1:30 movie, the first show of the day. Door opened at 1:15, chaotic mess. Told if we had tickets on phone could head in, then got kicked out. Had to go to box office anyway. Place was packed with people waiting to get in. Ordered snacks and drinks…..let it be known if you order anything other than popcorn, they will not start to make it until everyone is seated for movie. We ordered popcorn, soda, beer and nachos….after 1/2 hour went to check on our order, the lady was very rude in addressing me and sending me back to theater…….needless to say our bottom of the bag stale chip crumbs with chicken and cheese heated in a microwave came an hour later, beer was long gone. No toilet paper in one of the stalls and we were first group in. I don’t think I saw one person that wasn’t annoyed with the whole process . $100 day at movies, value not there. Once again neat concept but in desperate need of organization/management.

Couldn’t wait to experience this theater, but quickly disappointed due to poor service and extremely rude woman. Ordered food which didn’t come until over an hour into the movie??? And the woman was irritated that I was inquiring about it. I thought it was just me she had a problem with, but she and other workers there were just as rude and nasty to others inquiring about the food. Oh, and when the food got there...it was cold and disgusting. Not worth it, unless you just don’t order food-seats are pretty -and really comfortable

Park Plaza Movie Theater Lobby has a feel unlike any other kind of a theater, gourmet food/wine/beer, ice cream/coffee bar family type place … with $5 Tuesday movies. 🍿 We went three times during our Hilton Head visit just for that! Obviously this couple owners want that family and friends feel with their dogs being an important part. (Sadly I didn’t get to meet the dogs.) Really a great little place, 6 theaters and so much more as mentioned above. Highly recommend!

We decided to go to a movie today, best decision ever! We went to @ParkPlazaCinema an independently owned movie theater. What a super experience! We spent about half as much money as we do when we see movies at home. They have the reclining chairs and all the concessions you could ever want, at affordable prices. There are about 4 or 5 different first run movies screenings with about 50 seats to each theater. We even met the owners. I can't say enough about this movie theater, if you are in Hilton Head make sure you support this local business.

If there was such a thing as first class in the theater business this place would be it. Large, comfortable, sofa style recliners. Beer, wine, great food. No COVID concerns at all. Clean, distanced, masked, they are doing it all and all felt very safe. We saw the new (not new) Woody Allen movie “A Rainy Day in New York” and we laughed out loud. Great memories of my teenage days spent running around the city. Very funny, and man it felt good to laugh. Go to the theater! The Mann’s are great people who work hard to provide an outstanding experience for all.

We celebrated our daughter's 12th Birthday with a movie party at this location this past weekend and we had the best time!!! Lucie was very helpful in getting everything booked and set up. When we arrived, Doreen was extremely helpful. She got everybody's food and drinks order (for a bunch of 12 year old kids). The movie theater was excellent, the site was clean, all safety protocols were followed, and everybody had a wonderful time. Highly recommend this place for any party or gatherings, kids or adults!!!

Hi, Thank you for reaching out to us. Right now #1 and #2 have the new VIP recliner love chairs! Next week we start the installation with the other 3 theater.
