Captain Drew Davis, a local USCG licensed captain who has been fishing Hilton Head Island waters for over fifteen years. Specializing in light tackle and fly inshore fishing. Targeted fish are Tarpon * Cobia * Redfish * Spanish Mackeral * Sharks * Trout * Sheepshead * Triple Tail * Jack Crevalle. My cousin and I were both taking our sons (4 & 7) for their first boat fishing trip, and it was awesome. Drew and John catered to, and helped our sons have an incredible time. Besides being professional and knowledgeable of the area, they were extremely kind and welcoming. The boat was nice, clean, and safe. They handled all of the rigging and baiting of the rods. On top of all of that, we also landed our limit on Red Drum (plus a few more we released) and a couple of small sharks that were also released. They cleaned and filleted our catch and threw in some cooking tips as well. Thank you both for you courtesy and hospitality!

I have been fishing with Drew over the past seven years and we catch fish and have a great time every year. I am an avid fisherman that fishes coast to coast and many guides either don’t have the knowledge or have lost their enthusiasm, but Drew has both. There are many guides on the island but Drew’s dad was the first so fishing and the fishery are in Drew’s blood. As far as I am concerned he is the best on the island as I have fished with many others.

Drew is an awesome captain! We caught 12 red fish, several little sharks and a sting ray. He knows his stuff and we had a great day fishing!

We have been going on fishing charters on Hilton Head for 10 years and Drew is the best. We have been out with him for 3 years in a row and we could not be happy. He is great with our kids (7 and 12 now) and makes it fun for everyone. We have caught a ton of great fish (Tarpon, Red Fish, Trout, Shark) and always have a memorable experience. Could not recommend any more highly!!

We really enjoyed our day on the water with you. You gave my two grandsons a time that they will never forget. In all the years I have lived here, I have never experienced so many fish in one trip.

Drew was amazing. Great with our 7 year old daughter, highly skilled/knowledgeable, kind, entertaining, and made a slow start (fishies weren’t biting initially) into a killer experience! We must’ve caught 15 ginormous red fish and even a hammerhead shark ! If you’re looking for a wonderful guy and a phenomenal experience you can’t go wrong choosing Drew !

Where to start? Simply, Drew puts you on the fish! Super personable guy as well. Really listens to what you want and caters to you. First time fishing? No problem. 50 year experienced professional anglar? No problem. Very competitively priced. We've already booked with him 3 more times. You will not go wrong here. You get a lot of fishing time on his 4 hour trips. Bring a cooler for all the fish you are going to catch.

Captain Drew Davis is the son of Hilton Head fishing legend Fuzzy Davis. Drew has learned his dad's craft very, very well! I have fished with guys who maybe have had more years of experience, but none locally with the fishing skill....except his dad!
We left the dock at 7 AM on a beautiful September morning. Weather was great; the fishing was better! My buddy and I caught probably 20-30 trout and redfish. Most of the reds exceeded the length to keep. That is. most were pretty big! I love to fish and normally a 5 or 6 hour trip is no problem, but we were both tired of reeling in some of the strong redfish.
Drew is a great fisherman, but also a personable and very nice gentleman. Boat was well maintained and offered plenty of space. Fish with him. You won't regret it!

Ive done 5 to 7 different charter companies around HHI and this one was by far the best. Drew put us on the Reds and we were crushing them all day. Great all around experience and I will be back again.

We heard about Drew and Out of the Blue Fishing Charters through a friend and thought our children (ages 13, 11 and 9) would enjoy the fishing experience while on vacation. Drew exceeded our expectations! He knew all the hot spots and we caught a mix of fish in 4 hours... a 5 foot Lemon shark, 2 bonnet head sharks, 2 Atlantic sharks, a Jack Crevalle, a red fish, and a stingray! Our kids enjoyed this so much that we called Drew and asked if he could fit us in again 3 days later. He made time for us and again, he exceeded the standard. In our 3 hour trip, we caught 4 huge red fish (ironically at the same exact time), another huge 4 foot Lemon shark and 3 smaller sharks. If you are reading this, no need to look into other fishing charters... Drew is your guy! We tried another fishing trip while on that vacation (we booked it before going with Drew) and it couldn’t compare to the experience with Out of the Blue Fishing Charters!
