Daufuskie Island Guided History Tour from Hilton Head with Ferry Transportation

113 reviews
Remote Daufuskie Island is accessible only by boat and remains largely undeveloped, despite its fame as the setting of Pat Conroy’s novel “The Water is Wide.” A guided tour makes the trip a cinch—this package includes round-trip ferry tickets, plus transportation between island attractions such as the First African Baptist Church and Mary Fields School, all visited with the benefit of commentary from your guide.

I have been coming to Hilton Head for many years, and this was my first visit here. Do not know what took me so long to find this fantastic place! With the Covid restrictions, they were limited in seating. In had made a reservation several weeks before our trip for the early show and 6 pm dinner. Long story short, this place is wonderful. The music and food were both excellent and made for a fantastic evening. I will return!

First time to Jazz Corner. Sorry we waited as long as we did. If I could give it 6 stars I would! Wife and I had Cajun Halibut and we were not disappointed. Great attentive service. Don’t miss going to the Jazz Corner when in Hilton Head!

As others have said this is an intimate little restaurant with a small stage for the band to play. The food was most excellent there were six in our group and we are did that she crab soup, the Brie, fried green tomatoes, and mussels. All were very good. I ordered the special salad of the day, blue cheese wedge salad, and it was very good. Next time I will get the dressing on the side. For the main course we ordered the special halibut dinner and it was wonderful. For dessert we got the chocolate gelato and it was fantastic. On the night we went there was a five piece band and they were absolutely fantastic. One of the best nights we’ve had in a long time.

From the second we stepped into the Jazz Corner, we knew it’s gonna be amazing. Peter, our server was quite knowledgeable regarding the menu and drink selection. He was kind and helpful however towards the end of the night he forgot to smile.. can’t really blame him though. The food was absolutely fabulous and of course the music and the whole ambiance of the place is amazing. Definitely recommend a trip to the Jazz Corner. At the end of our dinner the owner came to the table thanking our visit. Will definitely return. Thanks for everything.

Attended a Lifelong Learning of HHI benefit dinner and salute to New Orleans Jazz. Meal and music were both excellent. Our server was James and he was outstanding...helpful...attentive...friendly. Jazz Corner is one of our favorite places.
