We went with Byron for a fishing trip with our 3 year old and 8 year old. Everyone had a terrific time, and we caught a bunch of fish and even a couple sting rays. The captain was a great combination of fun, competence and a skilled fisherman. Our kids loved him. The 8 year old recommends casting your line under a dock if you’re near one, because the really good fish live under docks.

Such a fun fishing trip! Great exposure for our kids. We fished and then Scott’s Fish Market fried it up for us to eat!

We truly found the easiest way to go to the St. Patrick’s Day parade from HHI! No car to worry about, no parking, just take the boat, get dropped off, enjoy the festivities, and return home! Thanks for a great day!!!!

This is a MUST-do for your family! We had ages 5 thru 65 on our tour and everyone enjoyed themselves! Byron has so much local knowledge and incorporates fun for all ages. He even had our son call out on the walkie-talkie!! We got to see dolphins throughout our 90-minute tour and some even came right up by our boat! If you are looking for something fun for the family, choose Native Son Adventures for your dolphin tour. The small, personal tour was so peaceful and I cannot recommend it enough.

Great tour - Byron was very knowledgeable, professional, and fun.
We learned a lot of history about Hilton head, learned about the birds and other wildlife, and even got a few tips and great places to eat.
Everyone was happy that we took the trip and even happier that on two different occasions, we got to see to dolphin, swimming side-by-side

Native Son Adventures is fantastic and Captain Byron is the best! We have enjoyed family boat trips with our kids. Highlights included lunch on Daufuskie Island, finding shark teeth, holding live crabs, exploring seashell islands, and watching dolphins swim alongside the boat.
Will was also great and very patient and kind.
We highly recommend adventuring with Native Son!

A group of 6 of us took a private sunset cruise. Byron was the captain and he did not disappoint! We had an amazing time and we appreciated the personal touch that Byron presented. We were able to watch dolphins and stop by seashell island for a photo op and seashell! We highly recommend Byron and his sunset cruise!

Had a three hour tour with Captain Byron today! He was wonderful with our kids and the boat ride was fantastic. We saw plenty of dolphins, went shelling and shark tooth hunting. He even let us help check some crab traps. He’s delightfully entertaining and very knowledgeable (obviously he knows and loves this place). We had a wonderful time and our daughter even wished for another hour. Thanks for the fantastic experience, we will book again on our next visit to Hilton Head Island.

Incredible experience on our tour. Captain John was the best guide. Super great with children while maintaining a chill ocean expedition. 10 out of 10, will cruise again! Thanks, Native Son!
