We had a fantastic trip with Capt. Ben and 1st Mate Matt. They were exactly on time (A few mins early actually) to pick us up at the dock. Ben was thorough and spent some time asking some questions and really understand our goals for the day. Unfortunately, shortly after we set off, we had a minor issue with my father-in-law which required a return to the dock a few minutes after leaving the dock, but Ben and Matt where prompt and quickly got us back. They then were very efficient to get us back out and to the 1st fishing spot. (we only lost about 10 minutes total). At the 1st spot after we tied up Ben and Matt got lines in the water incredibly fast and walked us through everything we needed to know. Being all relative novice fishermen they were always quick to lend a hand and gave great directions. Once we had lines in the water they were pretty active right off the start and we pulled in several bonnet head and spinner sharks. Once the action died down at the first location they moved us to a 2nd location where we pulled in a few more sharks as well as several lines where the fish got away (Yeah...Sure...right...I know...it was my error). Ben and Matt were on top of things at all times and were great conversationalists, tour guides, local experts, and generally a lot of fun to hang out with. Although we didn't manage to pull in anything edible for dinner what we did catch was a lot of fun. 100% will book with Ben and Matt again next trip to the island. Would encourage anyone reading this to do the same.

We went out with Captain Ben for a simple 3-hour shark fishing tour. The captain got us on the fish right away and we had a few in the boat within the first 30 minutes. Nothing fancy but that's all we wanted - just to hang out and catch some bull sharks and hammerheads. Even managed to land a couple of fairly large stingrays. All in all we enjoyed the conversation with Captain Ben and had a good time pulling in some fish

Great 6-hour family fishing charter. Captain Matt and Mate Nick were very friendly and did a great job accommodating our party and wishes. The boat was clean and well maintained. They put us on fish and switched tactics when we were ready to try something else to keep the action going. We caught some great spade fish and am 800+lb Tiger Shark that took us an hour to reel in. Would definitely recommend/book again.

Great experience! The guys, Ben and Nick, were awesome with the kids. Caught a bunch of different varieties of sharks including bonnet heads, hammer heads, black tips, spotted reefs, and bulls, as well as a sting ray and a manta ray. Would recommend to anyone wanting to take out young kids for a fun learning experience catching fish off Hilton Head Island. Thanks again guys for a great time!

We had a great trip with Ben and Nick. They were friendly and knowledgeable and put up with all our questions! We caught 4 Spanish mackerel that we were able to keep and a lot of other fish we could not. If red snapper had been in season we would have been eating really well tonight. I would say we landed about 23 fish. Varieties included black bass, pin fish, blue fish, red snapper, toad fish, Spanish mackerel , and king mackerel. We saw a few dolphins, and two sea turtles! Ben even stopped so I could get a better look at the sea turtle!

Our family of 6 (4 kids ages 17-23) booked a 5 hour fishing charter with Captain Steve and loved it. My kids were hoping to catch sharks and we caught lots of them, ranging in size from 12” to over 3 ft. Captain Steve was both friendly and funny. He has over 40 years of experience and very obviously loves what he does. We had a great time with Marco, the first mate, as well. Marco was incredibly patient with us non-fisherman, taught us a lot, and was just fun to spend the afternoon with. We highly recommend.

Captain Steve and his mate were good hosts, and although the mackerel weren't on the bite, they made sure we got some action shark fishing.

This is a relatively new outfit, but one that deserves to be at or near the top of the fishing tours available on Hilton Head.
Captain Steve is knowledgable about fishing, as well as local history and the flora and fauna, all of which makes the trip all the more enjoyable. On our trip, the first mate was his wife Patte, who is also knows her way around a boat and the island. A great team
I would suggest that you take advantage of the food offerings that Steve is able to bring along from the Hilton Head Social Bakery. An authentic French bakery on the Island. Yummy.
Fabulous food, great people, wonderful boat. Even some good fishing! What more could you ask.
You cannot miss this experience

Wouldn't book another trip. 4 hr charter after you catch the bait and 45 min ride to and from the only fishing spot we tried you one fish or should I say watch 6 poles that they throw out for you and catch the fish for you then hand you the pole. We did catch a couple tiny sharks and 2 very big stingrays but not a trip for somebody who actually likes to fish maybe okay for kids. The deck hand was good!

Steve is an excellent captain and knows the Hilton Head waters like the back of his hand. We had a wonderful experience on his boat to end our vacation. Hopefully, we will have a repeat next year!!
