Beautiful beach and sand! Even though it was Covid season, we were all out...We stayed at an AirBnB close by but I did see some parking close by.

You need better parking options as it is very unfriendly at the beach parking on folly field rd.If you want people to return to this island you need to be more customer friendly.Tnhere are too many other options for friendly islands

Do not come here if your in an RV or camper. You Are NOT welcome here. Especially at a place called Sea Pines where Harbor Town is. You won’t get past the front gate. Miserable uppity snobby area. Do yourself a favor, keep going! Spend your money where your welcome. It’s not here!

Nice, clean beach with plenty of space. Only complaint was all the bikes. With young kids darting to and from the ocean, you are on constant guard.

The beaches at Hilton Head Island are some of the nicest beaches I have ever been on. It is long stretches of white sand, virtually no seashells, no rocks and no seaweed... at least in the middle of September. The beach is a gentle slope into the water and you could walk out a good 30 yd and still only be waist deep. This time of year the water was warm and a little murky but it is the Atlantic. There are cabana rentals as well for $40 A-day... And with the hot sun they are definitely worth it. Temps still 84-88 degrees. We packed a lunch and drinks...perfect place!!

A charming and casual eatery at the Westin.
Adjacent to the pools and the activity center for watersports, etc. this was an open and casual spot to appreciate the climate and ocean views. Definitely reknown for its exotic drinks that make sunbathing even more enjoyable, they also provide some casual snacks and meals. SPLASH provided stop shelf coolers, frozen refreshers and smoothies. Our favorites: Brittany's Blanc a frozen drink for $12 that lasted; Ketel one Relaxer with exotic vodka, agave, coconut and muddled raspberry $13 ; and the non-alcoholic peach mojito $7 . All so refreshing!! The pulled pork sandwich for $13 with side of slaw was filling and the nachos for $13 suited us just fine. The kids menu was $8, and the adults ranged from $12 to 18. Mostly self-serve,

Stayed for a week in Palmetto Dunes; accessed the beach by the Disney resort. Was crowded (and HOT) during the day, but we loved coming down in the early evening. From 5-8pm was the sweet spot. No sunburn, less crowds, wide open beach. We are used to New England beaches ... for us, the water was very warm (kids loved that). Also, lots of sand dollars underfoot. I stepped on a ray too (thankfully, no sting). Not much in the way of beach combing - precious few shells - though we did see some horseshoe crab parts. Waves were very tame. Nice outdoor shower facilities.

This is a family destination dedicated to basic past times. Long strip of soft sand on a murky ocean. Golf, tennis, bikes and boats. Run of the mill food at all dining levels. Very upper middle class suberbia vibe.
Its clean, expensive and high end basic.

Legalize Alcohol on SC beaches. I had no idea you are not allowed to enjoy a drink on the beach. Dark ages

We had no idea really what to expect when we went. We had a great time relaxing and going to the beach during our time there. My wife and I were able to get away for a little shopping. It was very nice and relaxing when we got there.
