Small interactive children's museum with plenty to do. At the back of a church. $6.00 admission. My grandkids loved it. They are 2 and 4. You can easily spend an hr. or two there.

Each summer when we visit Hilton Head we take our grandchildren to The Sandbox one afternoon just to get out of the sun and sand. It's a small but very interactive museum.

Great indoor activity to avoid the sun. We went on a special day and the had Elsa abs Olaf and were able to build Olaf cookies. Very cute.

So many activities for all ages. Lots to do and all the children when we were there were very well behaved. Staff are about overseeing which is good. If it would have been really crowded I'm sure it could get chaotic. Not for those who don't enjoy playing with their children.

This house is divided into several different interaction rooms. There were things to climb on and through, an airplane to pilot, clothes for dress up, story time with craft, even an enclosed area for toddlers. etc etc. The kids could go from one activity to another and back again!

My kids enjoyed the different stations in the children's museum. They played for a long time upstairs. My son really enjoyed building cars and racing them down the ramp. My one criticism is that the staff is a bit uptight to be working at a children's museum. They seem to be very strict and they have video cameras set up... More

A great option for a rainy day or just to take a break from the beach. Interactive play areas for the younger kids. There is an area for craft projects, too.

This is a favorite to take the Grands several times. Ours really enjoyed the costumes to try on and "play act". Really great if the weather is rainy.

As other reviewers have said, this is a great place to get out of the sun (our case) or rain, and you gotta love the low admission price! It is smaller than regular children's museums, which is probably also why it does not carry that designation. When I first went in with my 5-year old, I was convinced that we... More

Maybe because this was the 4th or 5th time we've visited in the past few years our granddaughters, ages 3 and 8, were "done" in under two hours. The "sand" in the box was minimal, there was apparently only one "girl" pirate costume available, the plane was monopolized for an hour by a group of 6-8 year-old boys, and the... More
