Great condition and interesting track. I don’t think as nice as Atlantic but a great test of golf. Greens are tricky but very smooth.

First- I'm a huge Harbour Town and Atlantic Dunes Fan and I love Sea Pines--- My wife and I stay here 1 or 2 weeks a year, so I'm being candid about this review. Condition- it's in very nice shape. I'd say 8.8-9.2 somewhere around...More

I had a chance to play Heron Point by Pete Dye on Christmas Eve 2018. The course was in very good condition for late December, with greens and fairways in great condition. Living in the North, I hadn't had an opportunity to play for a...More

Course is pretty good. A few really good holes including the 18th which is best finishing hole on the island. Unfortunately they chose to aerate everything (tees, greens, fairways) Memorial Day week! The greens were literally 5 or less on the stimp. I’ve putted on...More

I've played Heron Point for decades going back to when it was Sea Marsh. The Pete Dye renovation and condition are incredible! The condition this year was the best I've seen of any golf course I've played. The staff at the course are first rate....More

It is hard to find fault with this golf course but we managed. There had been over 3 inches of rain the day before so we were limited to "cart path" only which slowed play considerably. You waited before every shot. The fairways and greens...More

I played Arthur Hills this morning and Heron Point this afternoon. I liked them both a lot, and they were similar prices (around $150). The facilities at Heron Point are somewhat better maintained and upscale. But the golf carts do not have GPS. The Heron...More

Wind was 20/30 MPH but a great golfing experience. Greens and fairways in excellent condition. Will want to play course on my next trip to Hilton Head in better conditions. Recommend playing if you are there.
