After a multimillion-dollar reconstruction project in 2007, The Sea Pines Resort is pleased to introduce its newest must-play course, Heron Point by Pete Dye. Designed by legendary course architect Pete Dye, Heron Point is nothing short of a modern...more
First- I'm a huge Harbour Town and Atlantic Dunes Fan and I love Sea Pines--- My wife and I stay here 1 or 2 weeks a year, so I'm being candid about this review.
Condition- it's in very nice shape. I'd say 8.8-9.2 somewhere around...More
I had a chance to play Heron Point by Pete Dye on Christmas Eve 2018. The course was in very good condition for late December, with greens and fairways in great condition. Living in the North, I hadn't had an opportunity to play for a...More
got an early tee time on Father's day weekend. Great staff that met us as soon as we arrived to put clubs on cart. Great clubhouse. Practice area very close with all the functions you need. A very fair but challenging course. Bunkers and water...More

The fairways and greens...More

Wind was 20/30 MPH but a great golfing experience. Greens and fairways in excellent condition. Will want to play course on my next trip to Hilton Head in better conditions. Recommend playing if you are there.
