This is a very well maintained dedicated bike trail that goes from downtown Greenville to Traveler's rest and a little beyond. It is a shared use trail, so be sensible regarding your speed. You'll see many walkers along the way, there will be several roads that you'll need to slow down to cross, and there's some blind curves where you... More

The swamp rabbit trail is a very beautiful trail to walk or to ride a bike. It has very beautiful scenery. You can stop by the zoo or by restuarants for a bite to eat or alittle something to drink. Walk or ride through the trails of furman. Very beautiful..

Had a wonderful day and experience on the Swamp Rabbit Trail...well paved for walking and also padded for runners. It w as crowded with walkers, bike riders, some children with scooters, runners....everyone enjoying the day and the trail. It is thoroughly enjoyable and a wonderful way to spend a lovely day in Greenville.

My husband and I bike the swamp rabbit trail usually every Sunday. We start downtown Greenville at the zoo and bike to Travelers Rest. Great exercise, also great quality time with my husband!! We usually have a lite lunch in Travelers Rest then bike back. Would highly recommend, take plenty of water!!

This extensive trail meanders through Greenville and beyond and has several stops for food, bike rentals, and other points of interest along the way. Perfect for walking, running, and biking.

The swamp rabbit trail is an excellent trail for hiking ,walking biking , rollerblading ,you name it. It's clear flat for the most part and travels through wonderful parts of Greenville and the Falls Park area as well as up to Furman college!

Scenic, spacious path, but be warned that with the numerous intersections with other paths it can be easy to get lost, despite the many markings. I did a 5 mile run and at times wasn't sure I was still on the trail and heading in the right direction, but then I didn't exactly take the time to scout things out... More

The Swamp Rabbit Trail stretches for about 4 miles south of Greenville, and about 8 miles north to the visitor-friendly village of Travelers Rest (or TR, as locals call it). The trail gets busy on weekends, so I prefer midweek. However, anytime is good. Just be aware that the trail crosses a few arterials, so obey the signs warning trail... More

Great for small children! Plenty of space to run while keeping them in sight. Watch out for bicyclists who are all friendly but don't always follow the dismount rules
