The trail was very nice. We rented bikes at Sunrift Adventure. The bikes were in excellent condition.

Very scenic paved bike path, much following the Reedy River. Virtually flat with an ever so slight grade between Greenville and Travelers Rest. Many places to stop and refresh along the trail.

If you want an excellent run, hit Swamp Rabbit. There are several trailheads with ample parking! You may even choose to park at Furman University and run. Beautiful scenery, great access to downtown Greenville and friendly pedestrians and cyclists along the way. There is also a police presence on the trail via bike or Segway. The trail has mile markers... More

The Swamp Rabbit Trail is built on an abandoned railroad so it is quite level which is great for bikers, walkers, and joggers. The trail is paved with asphalt and is mostly smooth but there are areas of upheaval due to tree roots but they are marked, The trail is marked with mile posts every half mile and has painted... The Swamp Rabbit Trail is a flat trail that runs through downtown Greenville, SC into Travelers Rest, SC. When we don't have time for the entire trail we cut it in half by parking at the Swamp Rabbit Cafe and biking to Furman or into Travelers Rest. Bikes can be rented in Travelers Rest (Sunrift Adventures) or downtown (Reedy Rides)... More

We rented bikes in Greenville and rode to Travelers Rest, about nine miles down the road. The paved trail was well maintained with great signage all along the way. There was even a section with a rubberized track for runners. Although it is a great trail (and I can only imagine how beautiful the foliage would be in the fall),... More

The swamp rabbit trail is a bike riders paradise. The trail is smooth and clean and well marketed and the trail users are courteous and friendly. There are several one and two lane streets that you must cross on the trail. While riding this weekend, twice drivers who had stopped for us to cross took action to ensure that other... More

Did the Swamp Rabbit in April 2016. It was so fun, and a great smooth ride. You can bring your own bikes or rent them in Greenville.
