A lovely house and grounds on the Georgetown SC waterfront. Beautifully and tastefully decked out for Christmas when I was there and with an enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guide (Diann Odell) it was one of the highlights of my two week trip to the USA! Not to be missed!

The grounds were lovely. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. The decor inside was an interesting mix of Revolutionary War, Civil War, and 1950s eras. The tour is about 1 hour long. You can walk all over the outside on the lawn for free. The only drawback to some photos was the uglier factory area on the river.

Interesting tour (1 1/2 hour) the house donated by family to remain just as furnished when owner donated to town. So you have museum quality antiques, acquired during international travels with mid century comforts such as dishwasher- early tv - exercise equipment. Worth $12 and time- small size tours and enjoyable tour guide ( sorry forgot her name). Sister and... More

They conduct tours of the museum. Location on the waterfront and end of the newly-created town's harbor walk! Located also at one end of the town's downtown/ Main Street which is surrounded by some restaurants, retail shopping and other activities. One must visit the museum if you visit this town. It makes for a good educational experience for the visitor.

This is a beautiful example of architecture typical of the old south. Tour the house, the surrounding gardens and visit the small gift shop.

This is a two for one deal in that two houses are included - the Kiminski and Stewart houses. Re the Kaminski house, it was originally built in the 1700s but had two subsequent additions. The additions make for an unusual design in that there are 2 main staircases - one for the old and one for an addition. They... More

This place is right on Front St. The guide was the best. She even made it interesting for young children.

The location is very nice right on the river. We were permitted to have a picnic on the front lawn and it was very nice. The house itself is nice but has a lot of items from the 40s and 50s so it's like touring a house your grandparents might have lived in. There are a few pieces of furniture... More

On your visit to historic waterfront Georgetown SC you MUST stop by the Kaminski House museum! It has the best views from the front lawn and you can have a special event there if you like. The tour is amazing, the staff so incredible and helpful and the views are spectacular! There is so much history in the quaint waterfront... More

The nicest thing about this experience was the tour guide, who was very personable... and knowledgeable. The Kaminski House is well preserved piece of Americana that was worth the modest admission fee. If you visit Georgetown you have to see at least two things; One, is the Kaminski House, and two, drive up and down the Live Oak & Spanish... More
