Good overview of the area from the start to the present day. The history might bore some children, but the place was an interesting historical area with good data about early settlers.

No admission charged, but donations asked. Take the tour with a volunteer as they add a lot to what you can read. The tour only lasted about 30 minutes, so in about an hour to an hour and a half if you like to read...More

Very nice collection of historical artifacts and good explanations of what's what. Georgetown was an important port town since the earliest colonial days. Docent Mary knows absolutely everything and tells it a succinct, entertaining and refreshing manner.

The museum is a must see. The facility has many great stories, artifacts, and atmosphere. We really enjoyed the view from the top floor. Don’t let the free admission full you.....they offer a lot to see.
